"Come to think of it, I could establish a system on the divine statues."
With a mere thought from Lucian, the World Will implemented the corresponding functions.
An option for Lucian's modified Falna system appeared on the statues. Upon selection, the statue would bestow a "Divine Blessing," executing the system modification on the recipient.
This modification would manifest the dependent's spiritual and life forces, unlocking a secondary option that provided techniques to utilize both types of energy.
As for the command formulas of the Rukh system, Lucian found them entirely unappealing; their limitations were simply too great.
The Magic Stone system was also unnecessary. It relied too heavily on a race's innate potential ceiling, merely serving as a fast-track power accumulation option for naturally powerful races.
However, since the Sea of Illusions had the Colosseum, utilizing experience points directly was far more convenient than consuming Magic Stones.
As for the Magicule system, Lucian was still configuring it.
He wanted to create a stable and powerful system that could smoothly integrate both mental and physical strength.
Therefore, the configuration of Magicules was the core. He couldn't use the Magic Stone system; its ceiling was far too low.
"Wow, it's true. I didn't see these functions this morning," Meteria said in surprise.
"The Divine Court is gradually being perfected, and the World Will has already been born," Lucian smiled. "And you were the one who named it, Meteria."
"Could it be... the Lord of Illusions?"
Meteria covered her mouth, her eyes sparkling with vibrant light.
Lord of Illusions, Lucian. As a personal title, it was somewhat arrogant, but as a divine name, it wasn't bad at all.
'Lord of Illusions' corresponded to his Divine Avatar, while 'Illusionary Traveler' corresponded to his human form.
After completing the central hub, Lucian could fully mobilize the power of the Sea of Illusions. His raw burst power was no weaker than that of a god.
Later, after acquiring the Flame of Heaven, he had designed the random labyrinth in an incredibly short amount of time.
Currently, the vast majority of the Divine Avatar and World Will's computational power was dedicated to compiling Authorities for the Firmament, thereby generating countless varieties of starlight. The energy from the Flame of Heaven was mostly used for this exact purpose as well.
Moving forward, as the Firmament's starry sky became more complete, the sheer power that the Divine Avatar and World Will could unleash would only grow stronger.
"Let's go. Time to see the Flame of Heaven."
Lucian smiled, then opened the statue's menu, flipped to the final option, and selected the altar.
With a flash of light, the group vanished.
A moment later, they reappeared in the dim underground world.
A massive flame blazed brightly before them. Countless rays of light formed a gigantic ritual array, circulating the energy straight up to the Firmament.
The dim space was illuminated by the firelight, its gentle glow imparting a deep sense of security.
The flames looked terrifying, yet they emitted no scorching heat.
"So this is the Flame of Heaven..."
Meteria murmured, slightly entranced.
Seeing the Flame of Heaven up close—the very fire that had saved humanity—evoked an indescribable, calming reassurance.
Sub-species divine power: an energy source brimming with both divine power and Authority.
"It's already been completely purified," Prometheus remarked, unable to hide her awe.
"More than just purified," Lucian chuckled lightly. He raised his hand, and a cluster of pitch-black flames ignited over his palm.
"Is this... a new sub-species divine power?"
Prometheus asked in astonishment. "You can even replicate sub-species divine power?"
"Aberrant Flame: Wrath Flame."
Lucian explained, "I extracted the filth from the Flame of Heaven and altered its properties. This resulted in the Wrath Flame, whose nature is the exact opposite of the Flame of Heaven."
Sub-species divine power was simply divine power combined with an Authority, just without a god to control it.
Lucian had created a seed of sub-species divine power, using the Flame of Heaven as his prototype.
If nurtured properly, this cluster of dark flames would sooner or later grow to rival the Flame of Heaven itself.
This process required not only massive energy investments but also the continuous weaving of rules.
Currently, the fire seeds in the Firmament had completely replaced the original starlight. The Wrath Flame in Lucian's hand, conversely, was merely a nascent seed.
This was because Lucian had other plans in mind. He intended to use the Wrath Flame seed as a crafting material, making its current intensity just right.
"Incredible... But I suppose for a true Creator, this is only natural."
Prometheus sighed in admiration. Suddenly, a spark of inspiration hit her.
After viewing the Flame of Heaven, the group teleported back up.
With a thought, Lucian constructed a pavilion beside the sacred spring. He retrieved tea, fruit platters, and pastries from his Material Reserve.
"Oh? Having a tea party, are we?"
With a flash of light, Bheara appeared in the pavilion, closely followed by Hephaestus.
"You two have impeccable timing."
Lucian smiled warmly. "Care to join us?"
"I saw you having quite the fun time with Prometheus earlier, so I decided not to intrude."
Hephaestus sat down with a completely deadpan expression, taking the seat directly opposite Lucian.
"Men. Typical. Heh~"
Bheara scoffed playfully and took a seat as well.
Alfia's expression was also slightly unnatural, as she too had noticed what transpired in the Divine Court earlier.
The main issue was that the only area in the Divine Court covered by the Fog of War was the residential district. The plaza had no Fog of War, meaning Lucian and Prometheus's little display had been completely visible.
Currently, the only instance map completely shrouded in the Fog of War was the random labyrinth.
"Getting angry all the time is bad for your skin, you know~"
Lucian naturally shifted his seat, sitting right beside Hephaestus and wrapping an arm around her waist.
"You shameless rogue."
Hephaestus sighed, not bothering to press the issue any further.
"You really just let him coax you like that?" Bheara laughed. "You're destined to be completely wrapped around his finger in the future."
"While that may be true, hearing you say it so bluntly is rather unpleasant," Hephaestus replied, thoroughly exasperated. "You really are a brutally honest troublemaker."
"The first wife?"
Prometheus sipped her tea, not looking the least bit flustered that their earlier actions had been witnessed.
She did feel a bit of embarrassment—she had just arrived in the Divine Court and hadn't understood how it worked, never expecting that literally everyone would see what they were doing.
But as long as she kept a straight face, no one would be able to read her thoughts.
"Let's just go with that."
Hephaestus resignedly poured herself a cup of tea. Taking a bite of a pastry, she added, "It's not like I can control this guy anyway."
"Speaking of which, aren't we still missing a fantasy world dedicated solely to providing gourmet food?"
Lucian smoothly changed the subject, his hand gently caressing Hephaestus's waist.
Meteria, observing Lucian's actions and Hephaestus's attitude, had a slight glimmer in her eyes, seemingly formulating an idea of her own.
"You mean you're missing a cook,"
Bheara laughed boisterously.
"Why not call Demeter over?"
Hephaestus suggested flatly. "As long as she is a pure maiden, it shouldn't be a problem, right? Even though both Zeus and Poseidon chased after her back in Heaven, she does meet the requirements to join the Divine Court."
Demeter was the Earth Mother Goddess presiding over agriculture, grain, and maternal love.
Coincidentally, Demeter headed a prominent Familia in Orario. She owned a massive estate just outside the city, supplying Orario with its food.
As for Persephone, who was Demeter's daughter in Earth's mythology, in this world, she was a human and the captain of the Demeter Familia.
And Demeter herself in this world was like a perfectly ripened peach.
She was a beautiful goddess who transcended the standard "older sister" archetype, exuding a distinct, irresistible maternal charm.
She was incredibly well-endowed and looked exceptionally soft—so ripe she seemed ready to drip with a single smack.
