"So it's the Artificial Dungeon..."

Hera suddenly realized.

"In that case, the Shaft Plan has a certain degree of feasibility?"

The Empress's eyes lit up.

To think the Dungeon didn't have an overly abnormal reaction... how lucky.

However, the Artificial Dungeon was at best a "neighbor." If the shaft were actually built inside the Dungeon itself, that wouldn't necessarily be the case.

"We don't need it now, though."

Alfia said, "Compared to the Shaft Plan, Lucian's magic is much more useful."

The Shaft Plan referred to building a vertical elevator shaft within the Dungeon to install a large lift, acting as a shortcut prepared exclusively for adventurers.

Once this Shaft Plan was completed, the exploration efficiency of adventurers would drastically increase.

Of course, compared to an elevator, Lucian's magic was vastly superior.

"You can't exactly say that. After all, the brat's magic can only be used by himself."

Hera reasoned, "Even so, we have to consider the Dungeon's reaction. That plan is still too radical."

For adventurers, being able to quickly reach their corresponding floor was a massive advantage that saved a lot of time.

Even for the Zeus Familia and Hera Familia, it took three days to get from the surface to the 50th floor. Because they were forced to march through the night on their final leg, they needed another full day to recover their condition, bringing the total to four days.

During this process, they also needed to transport and protect their supplies. Having an elevator would obviously be extremely convenient.

But this wasn't actually a huge help to the top executives of the Zeus and Hera Familias. The exploration limits of the two great Familias were too deep; even if the elevator reached the 18th floor, the benefit would be marginal.

Under normal circumstances, they never would have agreed to this plan, fearing it would trigger a Dungeon rampage during the critical period of their subjugation quests. That was even more true now that they had Lucian's magic.

"The main point is those members of the Evils."

Lucian reminded them.

"I know. They're just a bunch of trash. We can just clean them up on our way back."

The Empress replied dismissively.

"Since things have been arranged, I'll be taking my leave."

Lucian said, and with a wave of his hand, a pile of items appeared on the ground.

"These are the spoils from this expedition. You can distribute them later and just give me my share."

After saying that, Lucian flashed with light and disappeared.

There wasn't anything particularly special among the remaining spoils of this expedition. Balor's magic stone and Tartarus's Ice Bead—the two utility-focused materials—had already been utilized by Lucian.

Those Evils should have accumulated quite a few Ignis Stones by now. When the time came, he could use them to forge the Flaming Spring of Life.

But there were more important matters right now. The Divine Court's new function was almost complete.

"Lucian."

As soon as Lucian returned to the Divine Court, he was called out by Bheara.

"What's wrong?"

Lucian asked, "Did you run into trouble?"

"No, The Firmament has been fully set up."

Bheara proudly declared, "According to your design, I divided the Divine Court and the sky into two separate dimensions."

The Divine Court was only so big. Although its range could be expanded indefinitely, there was no need for it right now.

Therefore, Bheara's setup was to separate the sky into a different dimension entirely, forming rules and laws distinct from the Divine Court below.

The rotation of the sun, moon, and stars all existed within The Firmament.

"I'll go take a look."

With a thought, Lucian arrived within The Firmament.

In an instant, an indescribable sense of crushing terror surfaced in his heart.

If not for the fact that he was absolute and invincible within the bounds of the Divine Court, an ordinary person would likely have been crushed instantly by the sheer ambient pressure alone.

In Lucian's eyes, a massive sun operated on a fixed, unyielding trajectory.

Rising in the east and setting in the west, after the sun dipped below the horizon, it was the moon's turn to hang high in the sky.

It was worth mentioning that the sun and moon within the Divine Court were the exact same size.

Besides those two celestial bodies, the surroundings were filled with densely packed stars, floating motionless in the void.

"You even made an ice and snow sun."

Lucian looked speechlessly at one of the larger stars.

With Rule Creation, even the most absurd concepts could be manifested into reality.

This icy sun was also emitting light, but the rays it cast were freezing. Looking up from the Divine Court, it radiated the wondrous, pristine sensation of ice and snow.

"I am the Goddess of Winter, after all," Bheara said righteously. "Compared to the climate humans are adapted to, it's only natural that I prefer ice and snow."

A sun with reversed attributes. Very good. Very creative.

The physical laws of the Firmament, the structural composition of the stars—these celestial bodies were completely different from real cosmic entities.

But thanks to Bheara's intricate design, this Firmament possessed a rather perfect set of internal laws.

"Not bad at all."

Lucian ignored her playful, icy creation. It was just a single star, after all.

Without Bheara helping with the architectural design, just conceptualizing the orbital mechanics of these stars would have been enough to make Lucian go bald from stress.

Furthermore, the energy powering these stars originated from Bheara's own divine power. Her divine reserves had likely been completely depleted multiple times during this period of creation.

"What's important is the function."

Lucian noted.

"That Cosmic Starlight Array you mentioned?"

Bheara drawled lazily, "Using a ritual array to manipulate the stars against an enemy. Not a bad idea."

"Excluding the power of your inner world, just utilizing the rituals within the Divine Court is enough for you to obliterate any existence below the level of a God."

The main function of Rule Creation was to construct pillars of logic. The results of Magic Creation could only be supported by his own mana pool, and he wouldn't be able to withstand the pressure of maintaining the entire Divine Court alone.

Without the authority of Rule Creation, Lucian wouldn't have been able to construct the Divine Court in the first place.

Rule Creation could only create the stars and define their trajectories, but mobilizing the stars' destructive power required an external ritual array to accomplish.

As for the energy... the flow within the Firmament was perfectly cyclical. So, as long as Bheara expended the energy needed for their initial construction, the maintenance of the stars would cycle automatically without further input.

The same applied to combat. As long as he deployed his Reality Marble and projected the environment of the Divine Court into the outside world, Lucian could freely utilize the immense power of the Firmament to crush his enemies.

"Very impressive."

Lucian activated the Cosmic Starlight Array. Countless streams of stellar energy gathered, condensing into a single, terrifying force.

The intensity of this energy was exceedingly high. Using Hethonia as a benchmark, it could likely annihilate a Level 10 monster with ease.

He released his hand. The starlight energy instantly dissipated, was absorbed back by the Firmament, and subsequently replenished into the various stars without wasting a drop.

"The energy conversion is very fast."

Lucian was genuinely surprised.

After that attack had dissipated, it was completely recycled and reused by the Firmament in the blink of an eye.

In other words, this bombardment capable of easily obliterating a Level 10 could be fired continuously without interruption.

Because the power was recovered through absolute rules, it returned to the Firmament the moment the attack concluded, meaning there was zero delay in between barrages.

As for the speed at which the Firmament mobilized energy, Lucian had just witnessed it firsthand. It was clearly because Bheara had designed the Firmament; the energy transmission efficiency was incredibly high.

"Don't go saying I was slacking off."

Bheara huffed, "Even now, I'm constantly pumping energy into it. I can fit at least a thousand times my own maximum divine power in there."

This meant there was still immense room for growth. Give it some more time, and this Firmament would probably be able to unleash attacks rivaling those of a true God.
