Transmigrated into The Boys, Starting as Soldier Boy

Chapter 108: Current Speedster Supes

Next came the category Benjamin valued most: Speedsters.

In modern warfare, mobility often decides the course of a battle.

Speedsters were generally weaker in Super Strength and Super Defense, but their strategic value was irreplaceable.

Of course, among Speedsters, A-Train’s physical durability was unquestionably top-tier. He was still extremely strong, and on land, A-Train would have no problem beating The Deep.

Benjamin had personally selected and trained three Speedsters: Rena, codename Windrunner; Jack, codename Express; and David, codename Runner.

Not long ago, during an air disaster over the Atlantic, Jack, Express, had played a crucial role.

He carried The Deep on his back and raced to a stretch of coastline along the Atlantic.

Then, before the plane went down, he forced his way to the crash area and delivered The Deep there in time.

The Deep then summoned a pod of dolphins to hold up the doomed passenger plane.

After the incident was over, the one who had carried Benjamin to the scene earlier had been Rena, Windrunner.

Rena had beautiful, waist-length silvery-white hair that flowed like a waterfall. Her features were delicate and stunning, and her figure was nearly perfect, with a full, eye-catching chest, an astonishingly firm, curved ass, and long, shapely legs made strong and supple from years of running.

Back then, she had taken Benjamin to the Atlantic, serving as his "mount."

So that "mount" relationship...naturally found its way into the bedroom.

Benjamin had not expected that, in this rotten superhero circle, this alluring Speedster had still kept her most precious first time.

That night, there was no clash of Superpowers, only the most primal conquest.

From then on, Windrunner Rena was not just his subordinate. She was also his loyal mount.

...

...

Earlier, Rena, David, and Jack had also been the Speedster Supes who carried Starlight, Maeve, and The Deep on their backs to help Soldier Boy and the Homelander.

Of course, it did not do much good.

At the time, the Homelander had actually been rather touched.

In the eyes of Vought’s old pack of idiot executives, Speedsters were nothing more than racehorses used to sell sneakers and shoot energy drink commercials.

To Benjamin, that mindset was unbelievably stupid.

He valued Windrunner, Express, and Racer very highly.

Granted, in terms of raw speed, the three of them could probably only just squeeze into the global top ten.

Compared with the widely recognized top three, or even the number one, A-Train, there was indeed a slight gap in their 100-meter sprint data.

But so what?

When a Speedster could silently airdrop heavy combat power, or something like a bomb, straight into an enemy headquarters at supersonic speed, that tiny difference in speed meant almost nothing at the tactical level.

On top of that, Benjamin had assigned them a leader: Shockwave.

As a top-tier Speedster who had once competed with A-Train on the track for the title of "World’s Fastest Man," Shockwave had ultimately failed to make it into The Seven, but his current position was extremely special.

Benjamin had personally stepped in and promoted him to commander-in-chief of the "Speed Tactics Brigade," giving him a status somewhere between The Seven and the massive ranks of second-tier Supes.

Shockwave was deeply grateful for this recognition.

In the past, he had been nothing more than a "pace-setter" used by the PR department to provoke A-Train.

But now, he was the captain of the Speedsters, with real authority in his hands.

Naturally, that power made Shockwave very happy.

It even left A-Train a little pissed off.

But there was nothing he could do.

A-Train could not exactly give up his place in The Seven just to go lead the Speedster Supes, could he?

Of course, given the choice, he would have wanted both.

He would have loved to remain a member of The Seven while also leading the Speedster Supes.

But everyone knew A-Train’s heart was already having problems.

Even A-Train himself did not know whether he would still be able to run in the future. But he was not willing to give up his place in The Seven, so all he could do was keep hiding it and get through one day at a time.

...

...

Soon, after finishing his company business, especially after approving the document assigning Kimiko, codename The Female, to the second-line combat-type Supes, Benjamin left his office.

Before long, he arrived at a luxury apartment building.

This was Windrunner Rena’s private residence.

With a soft click, the fingerprint lock recognized Benjamin, and the apartment door slowly opened.

"Sir, you’re here."

Hearing movement in the entryway, Rena appeared in front of Benjamin almost like a streak of silvery-white wind.

She was a Speedster, after all. Rena was very fast.

Her blue eyes shone with undisguised fervor and devotion.

The moment Rena saw Benjamin, she knew exactly why he had come to her.

Soon, the tight silvery-white Supersuit slid off her body like a shed skin.

She was obedient to the extreme, even a little eager to please, like a docile white Persian cat. Bare and flawless, she gently wrapped her arms around the man who controlled both her body and her fate.

...

...

Two hours later.

On the luxurious French-style bed, the rumpled genuine leather sheets were thick with the scent of sweat.

Bare-chested, Benjamin leaned against the soft velvet pillows.

He lit a cigar, his deep gaze passing through the curling smoke as if he were calculating something.

Windrunner Rena lay lazily across Benjamin’s broad, solid chest.

Her perfect, delicate body still carried the flush of intense exertion, rising and falling softly with her breathing.

Benjamin held the cigar in one hand, while the other idly toyed with Rena’s long, waterfall-smooth silvery-white hair, his fingers occasionally brushing over her smooth back.

"Rena."

Benjamin blew out a ring of smoke. His deep, magnetic voice sounded in the quiet bedroom.

"Get ready. In a bit, you’re carrying me to Los Angeles."

At those words, Rena’s hazy eyes instantly lit up, and her fatigue vanished.

"Yes, sir."

She tilted her head up slightly and asked with curiosity, "What are we going to Los Angeles for?"

At that moment, Rena’s mind had already started racing with uncontrollable fantasies.

Los Angeles?

That meant sunshine, beaches, and Hollywood!

Could it be that after all this high-pressure work, Sir was planning to take a vacation, and bring her along for a sweet private getaway?

At the thought, Rena’s heart fluttered wildly, brimming with anticipation.
