Chapter 307: The Pirates’ Riot
After seeing Whitebeard's ship depart, one group quietly left from the outermost edge.
That was right.
This man was Williams, captain of the William Pirates.
Ever since he defeated one of Whitebeard's sons, his reputation had soared.
In an instant, his name had spread through the New World, and his bounty had risen from ninety million to three hundred million.
But he did not become arrogant.
Whitebeard had announced that he intended to capture him alive.
Williams was helpless too.
He knew very well that without strength, one could not act recklessly, so he had been very low-key after entering the New World.
Running into one of Whitebeard's sons had been purely an accident.
Who knew that guy's mouth would be so filthy?
He said they were turtles, that after entering the New World, they only knew how to hide and hardly fought at all. What kind of pirates didn't fight?
Furious, Williams could only fight him.
But who knew that guy's mouth was harder than his strength?
Williams knocked him down in a few moves.
Williams understood that Whitebeard had a serious addiction to being a "father," and that addiction was very strong.
So the William Pirates kept a low profile, hiding so well that Whitebeard could not find them.
Williams had no desire to call someone else his father.
That was why he had come quietly this time and was leaving quietly, without alarming anyone.
He also had no intention of joining the new Fourth Emperor, Shanks.
He was a man determined to accomplish something great.
How could a real man bow beneath someone else?
Marine Headquarters, Marineford.
Sengoku's face was dark, and he said nothing.
He could understand why Garp had been so impulsive.
Shanks had filled his own grandson's head with the idea of becoming a pirate. If Sengoku were in his place, he might not have been able to endure it either.
But from the standpoint of a soldier, he did not approve of Garp's impulse.
There had been four top-level fighters there. Although two were tired, the other two were still present.
Ever since Whitebeard drank that medicine, he could bring out ninety percent of his strength. If they had really fought, Garp and the other two would definitely have suffered.
Great Staff Officer Tsuru was also rubbing her brow from the side.
"At least they didn't fight. But you know Garp's situation.
"Dragon was one thing. Now even his grandson is like that. Anyone would find it hard to bear."
Sengoku nodded helplessly.
"It can only be like this. Next, prepare the Red Hair Pirates' bounties. After all, they have now ascended to the so-called position of Emperor of the Sea."
The disdain in Sengoku's eyes was not hidden at all.
Tsuru nodded.
"The Red Hair Pirates' matter is already settled. We can't change it now.
"Next, those pirates may riot. We need to be prepared."
After Tsuru's reminder, Sengoku also considered that problem.
He held his forehead and cursed.
"Damn pirates. Shanks is nothing but a troublemaker. White brat was right. Wherever that man goes, nothing stays peaceful."
Helplessness flashed in Tsuru's eyes.
It was not hard to imagine how crazed the pirates would become after Shanks became an Emperor.
They had been suppressed for more than ten years.
Now that someone had stepped forward and succeeded, how could they not go mad?
"So the Three Emperors can be challenged after all."
This thought would linger in their minds for some time.
Only after the big figures in the New World killed enough of them would they calm down.
Most pirates were ambitious people.
Only when their ambition was shattered would they calm down.
Knock, knock, knock.
There was a knock on the door.
"Come in."
Sengoku raised his head.
An intelligence officer walked in.
"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, we have received reports from Marine branches across multiple regions. Many pirates have begun counterattacking. Some have even started attacking Marine branch bases."
"Damn pirates!"
Sengoku was furious and slapped the conference table.
Crack, crack.
Faint cracking sounds came from it.
Tsuru shook her head helplessly.
"Be gentler. That table is rather expensive."
Sengoku withdrew his hand and looked at the Marine.
"Pass down the order. Show those pirates no mercy. Kill them. Kill them all."
"Yes."
The intelligence officer hurried away to issue the order.
Before Sengoku could catch his breath, another intelligence officer ran in.
"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, from Sabaody Archipelago. Base 62 reports that large numbers of pirates have gathered there and are continuously attacking the Marine base. They request reinforcements."
"What? Have those pirates lost their minds?"
Perhaps Sengoku was a little too emotional. The hand he had pressed against the conference table exerted too much force.
Boom.
The conference table collapsed.
Tsuru shook her head from the side.
She had thought this table might last a little longer.
Kuzan stood up, removed his eye mask, and looked at Sengoku.
"Ah, la la. I'll go, Fleet Admiral Sengoku. It's time those scum understood the Navy isn't weak."
Sengoku nodded.
"Send all pirate captains to the auction house. As for the small fries who are still alive, send them all to Impel Down."
Kuzan nodded and walked out with his hands in his pockets.
Watching Kuzan's back, Tsuru smiled.
"He's different now. Different from before."
Sengoku could feel Kuzan's changes over the past few days.
According to Tokikake, Garp had said a few words to him.
Of course, those words had actually been spoken by White brat.
Sengoku sighed.
"Yes, he is different. He still looks a little lazy, but now he has some drive."
Thinking of White Ghost, Sengoku's head started aching again.
If only he had not left the Navy.
That would have been proper Four Emperors-level combat power.
On top of that, his methods were endless, and he had no shame.
Someone like that was perfectly suited to sit in Sengoku's position.
Then Sengoku thought of the fact that this brat was also about to enter the New World, and his head began throbbing faintly.
Even thinking with his backside, he knew this brat's commotion would definitely not be smaller than the Red Hair Pirates'.
When the time came, the Navy's hand would be even harder to stretch into the New World.
Sengoku turned to Tsuru.
"Where is White brat now?"
Tsuru thought for a moment.
"After leaving Twin Cape, based on the time, they should have reached Whisky Peak by now."
Sengoku frowned.
"Isn't his ship very fast? Why haven't they arrived after so long?"
Tsuru smiled bitterly.
"You forgot. That brat stole the Guroseadi. Without that man, the island ship is very slow."
Sengoku reacted and nodded.
"Keep a close eye on that brat. I keep feeling that he's holding back some big move, preparing to give the sea another surprise."
Sabaody Archipelago, Area 62, Marine base.
The pirate alliance attacked the Marine base fiercely.
"Boys, charge in! Kill all these Marines! They actually dared take noble pirates like us and turn us into slaves! These damned Marines!"
A pirate captain roared, ordering his underlings forward.
"Damn it."
Reed looked at the thousand or so pirates outside and could not help cursing.
Now he understood what White Ghost had said.
Without strength, you could not do anything.
Reed turned to a soldier.
"When will headquarters' reinforcements arrive?"
The moment he finished speaking, a chill suddenly ran through his body.
Swish.
Outside, everything instantly went quiet.
Reed and the others looked up and saw Kuzan standing there with both hands in his pockets.
"Admiral Aokiji!"
