Cecilia’s eyes turned sharp; so he was the problematic partner.
The girl who spoke approached with a few followers trailing behind her.
Diana looked at the girl, her face slightly displeased.
"Selina, I’ve already let you take my partner. What else do you want?"
Selina sneered.
"You gave him to me? Clearly, it’s because you lack the skills that Richard gave up partnering with you and chose me."
Selina and her followers burst into laughter as soon as she said that.
Diana looked at Richard, who remained indifferent, and asked sadly, "Is that what you think as well?"
He pretended to struggle with his answer.
"You know how important this ball is. I can’t afford to be set back by you..."
Everyone looked at Diana as if she were a fool.
