Cecilia was stunned for a bit when she heard Steven’s words, but then she carefully reconsidered the situation. It couldn’t be possible.
"Mr. Lawrence, please clarify your words."
"It has been twenty-four hours since the surgery, and Grandma still hasn’t woken up. Doctor Evan says it’s not due to surgery anesthesia, but possibly related to the acupuncture. Miss Morrison, do you have any idea on this?"
Cecilia sighed in relief. It turned out to be such a small matter.
After trying so hard to get a good night’s sleep, she was woken up by such a minor issue. She stretched and yawned.
"This acupuncture method makes a person sleep a few extra days to recuperate and restore energy. It’s nothing serious. Don’t worry."
On the other end of the line, Steven felt slightly more at ease hearing this.
Cecilia held Emma, who was looking at her mother with big eyes at that moment.
"Is there anything else, Mr. Lawrence?"
"No, nothing more."
Steven was about to hang up when Cecilia suddenly called out to him.
