Chapter 24: Singing contest
Alex quickly slipped under the blanket, pretending to be sick.
Dr. Kent opened the door and urgently asked, "You’ve always been healthy. Young Master. I just did a full-body check-up on you a few days ago. How did you suddenly get sick?"
As he spoke, he rushed to Alex’s side.
"Young Master, can you describe to me exactly what you feel?"
Alex blinked as Kent blinked back to him, the two locking gazes.
Kent took out various equipment to check on Alex.
Just as Alex pondered what to do, the room door opened.
Steven walked in and asked, "How’s it going?"
Alex immediately got out of bed and dashed to Steven, with the latter instinctively picking him up.
He said, "Dad, I’m already better. You can let Dr. Kent go."
Steven frowned. "Behave and let Dr. Kent examine you."
