Chapter 165: Chaotic Group

The Immortal Count, Seth Annum, silently looked up at the full moon.

Its silvery radiance reflected in his deep black eyes for a brief moment as he smiled.

"Caelum, call Asta."

He looked toward the others.

"And if any of you wish to summon your contracted beasts or spirits, you may do so as well, especially spirits."

The kids exchanged puzzled glances.

No one understood why their summons were suddenly necessary.

Still, none of them questioned the request.

If Caelum's famous father asked them to summon their companions, there was probably a good reason.

One after another, mana rippled through the clearing.

Caelum was the first to summon.

A symbol of a small horse's face manifested on Caelum's wrist, before a familiar horse stepped forward with elegant grace.

It was Asta.

The Divine Mystical Horse proudly let out a dignified snort.

"Neigh!"

Bonjour raised his hand next before performing the summoning ritual.

Soon, Big Ice, the Yeti kid, emerged with his usual expressive expression before quietly standing beside Bonjour as they talked.

This time Bonjour was not reverse summoned.

Skyler's summoning was considerably less dramatic.

The little golden slime simply bounced onto his head.

Boing!

It happily wobbled from side to side as if that alone was the greatest thing it could do.

This time, the slime didn't jump onto the Count's shoulders.

Sénior quietly folded his arms.

Unlike everyone else, he had nothing to summon.

As a candidate shaman, his path revolved around ancestral spirits rather than contracted beasts.

Ryan took a deep breath.

Instead of calling upon a spirit like normal, he condensed his mana into a tiny projection.

A miniature version of the Heroic Thief Spirit appeared on his shoulder.

The Heroic Thief folded his arms proudly as it thought that it was in Ryan's room.

"I have arrived."

His confidence lasted exactly one second.

The moment he noticed Seth, his expression changed dramatically.

"…"

He immediately tried pretending to be a decorative ornament.

"Oh?"

Seth raised an eyebrow, seeing this figure, he casually flicked a finger.

There wasn't the slightest fluctuation of mana.

No spell or incantation.

Yet, the connection between the projection and the Spirit Realm quietly disappeared.

Before he could comprehend what had happened, his true spiritual body was gently pulled into the mortal world.

A heartbeat later.

"Eh…?"

The Heroic Thief looked down at his own hands in disbelief because, the current he was the true spiritual body of himself.

Not in the spirit realm, but the mortal world.

Ryan stared at him blankly seeing the Heroic Thief act strangely.

He had absolutely no intention of questioning why.

Meanwhile, Paul clapped his hands together, not wanting to feel left behind.

"Jojo."

A familiar black-and-white blur rolled across the grass before stopping dramatically.

The panda stood up, dusted himself off with great dignity, and nodded.

"I have arrived, my master."

No one questioned why he had entered by rolling.

Anastasia too stepped forward.

Flames danced around her and with a cheerful chirp, her little Fire Chicken spirit, Ken appeared, proudly puffing out its chest.

A moment later, a graceful phoenix who looked like a bird, perched itself on top of Anastasia, as its eyes narrowed at the Count.

Loreal, the young agent of black order remained silent.

A pair of emerald eyes slowly opened inside her shadow as a sleek Black Panther silently waited in the shadows.

Without anyone realizing it, the already unusual gathering became even more unusual.

A Divine Mystical Horse.

A Yeti.

A golden slime.

A Heroic Spirit.

A Power Panda.

A Chihuchi Dog.

A normal Fire Chicken Spirit.

A Primordial Phoenix.

A Black Panther.

A Ghost Maid from another world.

An E-Boy.

An ancient Hollow Lich.

And an Immortal Count.

No, there was also a Paul.

It was difficult to imagine a stranger combination.

Asta glanced sideways as the horse immediately noticed a familiar round figure approaching him.

The little dog's eyes sparkled as she found a free ride.

And without hesitation she leaped.

Her tiny paws desperately tried climbing onto Asta's back.

"NEIGH!!"

Asta snorted in alarm.

With one elegant shake of his body.

"WOOF!"

Voomie was effortlessly thrown back into the air.

She bounced across the grass twice before immediately changing targets.

If Horse Seat failed, Owner Seat would do.

She landed perfectly atop Caelum's shoulder.

'This seat is too small.' Voomie frowned.

Caelum's eye twitched.

He didn't need telepathy as he could tell exactly what she was thinking judging from her expression.

'She's comparing me to Asta,'

Then Caelum's gaze turned to the princess.

Anastasia carried an unusual aura around her.

Nearby, another silent battle had already begun.

The Fire Chicken proudly raised its tiny beak toward the sky, looking exceedingly pleased with itself.

Jinx immediately took that as offense.

The glowing little E-Boy's red fur glowed as he crossed his wings before glaring back at the chicken.

Ken glared and Jinx glared harder.

Neither moved nor blinked.

Without a single sound, it escalated into a battle of pride.

Cliodhna sighed.

She wasn't entirely sure which one counted as the child anymore.

This group… was far too chaotic!

Seth silently looked at them for a moment, then crouched down and drew a perfect circle around everyone using a small stick in his hand.

At first glance, it looked no different from an ordinary line drawn in the dirt.

However, anyone who paid closer attention would realize that the circle was far from normal.

It was composed of thousands upon thousands of tiny runes, each one carefully woven into the next with breathtaking precision.

The formation was so intricate that even a master runic scholar would sell themselves to take a look at it.

Seth nodded in satisfaction.

"Good."

He then looked toward the group and spoke calmly.

"Everyone be ready, we are about to go somewhere special."

As he spoke, he raised his hand and gave a casual thumbs-up toward the moon.

In response…

The full moon above seemed to brighten slightly, as though acknowledging his gesture.

"Don't be surprised if you see many unfamiliar things," Seth added with a mysterious smile.

Then he brought both hands together, shaping them into a frame as he looked once more toward the moon.

The next instant, the runic circle beneath their feet lit up all at once.

Moonlight poured down from above.

Silver radiance spread outward, gradually enveloping the entire group.

One by one, their figures became faint.

Soon, they vanished completely.
