Chapter 37: Another Visit To The Antique Store
Feeling curious, Bai Hanyun walked over and opened one of the boxes, only to freeze in disbelief at the sight of a beautiful red wedding dress.
Snapping out of her daze, Bai Hanyun quickly opened the other boxes and found several pieces of exquisite jewelry made from silver, gold, and wood, a large bronze vase inlaid with gemstones, a matching pair of smaller bronze vases, a bronze wine jar, and four bronze wine cups.
Looking at those antiques, Bai Hanyun muttered tremblingly, "Oh my God... These look incredibly valuable. I wonder how much I could get if I sold them."
After calming herself, she carefully repacked the items and decided to order medicine from Li Dagou first before visiting Gu Bao Antique Store to sell these antiques.
Making up her mind, Bai Hanyun took out her phone and sent a message via WeChat to Li Dagou: [Boss Li, I want to order medicine. Do you have stock?]
Moments after she sent the message, Li Dagou called her.
Bai Hanyun picked up the call and greeted him, "Hello, Boss Li."
A second later, Li Dagou’s excited voice came through the phone. "Miss Bai, I just got your message. What kind of medicine do you need, and how much?"
"I want the same type of medicine and medical supplies as before," she replied. "But this time, ten times more."
Li Dagou paused for a second when he heard the amount she wanted. He hesitated and said, "Miss Bai, I do have that much in stock, but... do you have the legal license to resell these medicines?"
Realizing his concern, Bai Hanyun explained, "Boss Li, I’m not reselling the medical supplies. I’m donating them to countries affected by war."
