Chapter 29: Fierce Battle
Feng Xiyan’s eyes lit up when he saw Xue Ruhong. He raised his hand to stop Xue Ruhong from bowing and quickly asked, "General Xue, where are the weapons?"
Just then, Tan Pengtai and Zhan Qi brought a metal box and placed it in front of him. Zhan Qi opened the lid, revealing gleaming arrows inside.
The sharp arrowheads glowed faintly with a cold blue light, made from an unknown material.
Feng Xiyan picked up one of the arrows and lightly ran his index finger across the tip. When a thin line of blood appeared, his eyes widened in surprise.
"This arrow is incredibly sharp. Strong, yet lightweight."
After inspecting it, he drew his sword and slashed at the arrow shaft.
Clang!
The moment the bronze sword hit the arrow shaft, the sword’s body suddenly shattered and broke into pieces.
Seeing this, Zhan Qi exclaimed in shock, "Great General—your sword!"
Feng Xiyan looked at the broken blade in his hand, then at the unscathed arrow shaft. His hands trembled with excitement as he said, "We can win... We can win!"
Clutching the arrow tightly, he ordered, "Distribute these to the archers!"
