Chapter 27: Bai Hanyun’s Suggestion
When a young man in his mid-twenties came down from the truck, Bai Hanyun quickly opened the gate and approached him.
The man looked at her and asked, "Miss Bai?"
Bai Hanyun nodded. "You are delivering the weapons?"
The man smiled and replied, "Yes. My name is Shen Yi. Would you like to inspect the goods first, Miss Bai?"
"Yes, please."
With that, Shen Yi opened the container and stepped inside. He opened a box, pulled out an arrow, and showed it to her.
"Miss Bai, this is the arrow you ordered. The arrowhead has been sharpened and is made from high-carbon steel. The shaft’s material is carbon fiber."
"It’s more expensive than aluminum or wood, but it has an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, is durable, and maintains its shape even after bending. Using carbon fiber also improves accuracy and increases the maximum range of the arrow."
Bai Hanyun took the arrow from him and lightly touched the edge of the head.
"Be careful!" Shen Yi warned, but it was too late.
A thin line of blood appeared on Bai Hanyun’s fingertip. Bai Hanyun rubbed the blood away and nodded in satisfaction. "I’m very happy with the quality. Boss Shen, can we check the others?"
