The Wild Doctor and the Fair Beauty

"Heh heh heh. When have I, Wild Wolf, ever lied to you?"

Wild Wolf let out a wanton laugh and began to manhandle Yang Yanni roughly.

Although his grip hurt, Yang Yanni still looked as if she were enjoying it. "Brother Wolf, I've missed you. Hurry up and punish me, hard."

As she spoke, she made to kneel.

"Once is hardly enough, is it?"

Wild Wolf pulled Yang Yanni up with his left hand and slapped her on the rear with his right. "You little slut, you get hornier every time. I'll be sure to satisfy you later. For now, bring that 'Divine Doctor' in here. I want to see if my leg can really be healed."

"Okay, then. I'll go get him."

Yang Yanni planted several frantic kisses on Wild Wolf's face. "Oh, right, is Lin Liping okay? That Jiang Xinghai cares a lot about her. You absolutely can't..."

"I haven't touched her," Wild Wolf said with a smile.

"That's good." Yang Yanni patted her chest in relief.

'If Lin Liping had already been violated, Jiang Xinghai would surely become merciless.'

'Not only would he refuse to treat her pancreatic disease, but there would be no hope for Wild Wolf's broken leg either.'

"Go on, invite him in," Wild Wolf said, his face twisting into an inscrutable smile.

He indeed hadn't touched a hair on Lin Liping's head.

'But that didn't guarantee he wouldn't touch her later!'

'As for Yang Yanni, she had been unfailingly loyal to him for over a decade, and he'd grown tired of her long ago.'

"Ah! You—Divine Doctor Jiang, why are you here?"

Suddenly, Yang Yanni's startled cry came from the doorway.

"I was bored, so I came over." Jiang Xinghai waved Yang Yanni aside from where she blocked the door and walked in, his face devoid of expression.

He had followed her long ago and had overheard every word of the conversation inside the room.

"Sister-in-law, is that Divine Doctor Jiang?"

Immediately, the men in black tank tops inside the room rushed over.

Wild Wolf, who had remained seated in his boss's chair, slowly lit a cigar. "Since Divine Doctor Jiang is here, let's treat him like an honored guest. Everyone, make way!"

At his command, everyone backed away.

Yang Yanni wanted to speak several times but held her tongue.

'She was worried. Had Jiang Xinghai, who was outside the door, overheard her conversation with Wild Wolf?'

"Hello. I am Wild Wolf. It is an honor to welcome you, Divine Doctor Jiang."

Wild Wolf cupped his fists in a token gesture from his boss's chair. "I never expected Divine Doctor Jiang to be so young. Please, have a seat."

"Wild Wolf, was it you who had my friend Feng Lulu beaten and my friend Lin Liping kidnapped?" Divine Doctor Jiang asked, one hand held behind his back.

He hadn't found any sign of Lin Liping yet, so he didn't make a move, merely gazing indifferently at the explosively muscular Wild Wolf.

"Divine Doctor Jiang, I'm afraid there's been some kind of misunderstanding between us."

Wild Wolf showed no fear, instead smiling earnestly. "I certainly haven't beaten your friend, much less kidnapped her. As for whether my men did it? I'll have to investigate to find out."

"There's no need for you to investigate. Just call all your men over here, and we can have a confrontation."

Jiang Xinghai turned to a conflicted-looking Yang Yanni. "Miss Yang, you were at the scene. I trust you can identify them, can't you?"

Yang Yanni nodded.

Jiang Xinghai then looked toward Wild Wolf. "You have five minutes. Assemble your men."

"Divine Doctor Jiang, are you threatening me?" Wild Wolf asked, raising an eyebrow.

'On his own turf, Jiang Xinghai was being far too presumptuous!'

'Did he really think he could make me, Wild Wolf, obey his every command just because he's some Divine Doctor?'

What a joke!

"Yes. You can take my words as a threat."

However, Jiang Xinghai was not one to be intimidated by Wild Wolf's blustering. Instead, he unleashed a terrifying, bone-chilling coldness. "You have only five minutes."

"You..."

Wild Wolf shuddered, startled by the aura emanating from Jiang Xinghai, and was left speechless.

But a moment later, he slammed his hand on the desk. "Let me be clear! As long as you heal my broken leg, I'll give you the person you're looking for!"

"Are you threatening me?"

A strange, unsettling smile spread across Jiang Xinghai's face.

"That's right, I am threatening you!"

Before Wild Wolf's voice had even faded, the men in black tank tops swarmed forward.

From another room, at least thirty more men rushed out, surging forward to surround Jiang Xinghai completely.

"Divine Doctor Jiang, just listen to Brother Wolf. As long as you can heal his broken leg, I'm sure Liping will be perfectly safe."

At that moment, Yang Yanni squeezed in behind Wild Wolf, seemingly trying to persuade Jiang Xinghai in earnest.

"Miss Yang, you went to all this trouble to bring me here just to heal this wolf's broken leg, didn't you?" Jiang Xinghai sneered.

Since things had come to this, he decided to just rip off her mask.

"I..."

Yang Yanni's expression faltered. "That's right. I wanted to ask you to come here to heal Brother Wolf's broken leg. And, of course, to ask you to treat my pancreatic disease."

"If that was the case, you should have just told me directly."

Jiang Xinghai rebuked her, "But you never, ever should have sent people to beat Lulu, much less had them kidnap Liping!"
