It was back!

Or rather, it had never left at all!

After the existence of this Exotic Giant Beast was discovered, biologists, cosmologists, and even politicians from the United Nations all over the world engaged in heated discussions, debating what this Stellar Giant Beast was and just how big it could be.

Based on the typical eye-to-body ratio of creatures on Earth, if this exotic being’s eye had a diameter of several meters, then its body must be at least hundreds of meters in size—far longer than an ordinary aircraft carrier.

It was worthy of the name Stellar Giant Beast.

The largest creature on Earth is the blue whale, with the longest recorded length being only 33 meters. It was nothing compared to this Stellar Giant Beast.

However, there were also differing opinions. Some believed the eye-to-body ratio of this thing was different from Earth’s creatures. Perhaps this eye was its entire body—a giant eyeball a few meters in diameter, and therefore nothing to worry about.

Another view was that the Stellar Giant Beast’s size might far exceed human imagination. After all, the environment of outer space is completely different from Earth, which has gravity. Such a creature could very well have a more arbitrary form.

Or perhaps it wasn’t an eye at all, but something else entirely. Humans, with their preconceived notions, saw it and assumed it was an eye. Maybe it was the beast’s anus or something.

Of course, these last two viewpoints were not mainstream. People still leaned toward judgments that fit their own common sense, believing that this thing’s eye should have a proportional body.

But now, everyone—from the researchers and soldiers on site to the public watching this scene on their TVs and computers—swallowed hard, realizing that all their previous assumptions had been wrong.

The Wormhole’s phantom image was still expanding. It had already reached a diameter of thirty meters and showed no signs of stopping.

And the background on the other side of the Wormhole was still that eye!

The size of that eye far exceeded previous estimates, reaching a diameter of at least thirty meters!

This single eye was large enough to contain a blue whale!

By now, no one denied it was an eye anymore. Just by looking at the video feed, everyone who saw the image could feel a sense of being watched.

It was as if it awakened ancient memories hidden in their genes, from a time when humans were primates living in trees, constantly facing the threat of being hunted by more powerful beasts.

It was the feeling of being prey!

"Start the engines immediately, go to combat alert! Prepare carrier aircraft for launch! Submarines, enter D-mode!"

Seeing these people completely ignore the warning, the Exploration Command immediately issued repeated alerts:

"The Undersea Space Wormhole is undergoing an unpredictable change. Please leave this area immediately, or you will face unknown dangers! The Space Wormhole’s energy fluctuations have exceeded the critical point. The physical Wormhole is continuously expanding. Please leave this sea region immediately..."

These earnest warnings finally convinced some people to leave, but a significant number still completely ignored them.

Most of these people were conspiracy theorists.

In their view, the government had been conducting research for several days now and the Wormhole hadn’t posed any danger. Even if there was a change now, it wouldn’t be a big deal.

After all, they were on the surface, thousands of meters away from the seabed.

To call it a giant beast was less accurate than calling it an asteroid.

The entire surface of the beast’s body was grayish-white, and there were even numerous craters on it.

Other than that one eye, no other organs or limbs had been found yet.

It was as if a giant eye had grown on a bizarre, cratered asteroid.

The physical Wormhole itself also reached a diameter of thirty meters and finally stopped.

The Wormhole’s expansion had temporarily halted.

Seeing this, everyone couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief.

No one knew what would happen if this thing continued to expand.

Thankfully, the Wormhole still seemed to have an energy shield separating it from their side, so there was no backflow of seawater or anything of the sort.

Even the light from the Wormhole itself had dimmed considerably. The deep sea around it plunged back into darkness, as if nothing had happened at all.

Suddenly, a powerful beam of light shot out from the depths of the sea, aimed at the Exotic Giant Beast on the other side of the Wormhole. It struck the creature directly in its eye.

Zhao Weiguo couldn’t help but let out a string of curses:

"What the fuck are those Eagle Country people doing!"

The source of the beam was a deep-sea unmanned submersible belonging to the Eagle Country military!
