The dean nodded.

Chen Yu froze. An instant later, a graceful figure materialized in his mind.

Chen Yu snapped out of it, looked at the dean, and nodded.

The dean explained, "The main reason is that this True God is also a wielder of Chaos Power, a supreme ability."

"It’s quite a legendary tale, actually. That True God once went to Azure Sky Star on business. Right after she finished, Nangong Ba was born. Sensing another with the same ability, she went directly to the Nangong Clan and took him as her disciple."

"With such a formidable True God offering to be his master, the Nangong Clan was naturally eager to agree. And so, it was settled."

Hearing the dean’s explanation, Chen Yu hadn’t realized there was such a story behind it.

Chen Yu looked up at the dean and nodded.

But it wasn’t a big deal!

’My growth won’t be affected, even if she has a supreme power.’

’Besides, she’s not an enemy. I don’t need to get so worked up.’

’The biggest pressure, I suppose, comes from Nangong Ba’s master.’

"Relax," the dean said, patting his shoulder. "You’ve already made incredible progress. It doesn’t matter if you don’t get first place. You still have a shot at the top ten, at least."

Chen Yu gave a faint smile and looked at the dean. "By the way, Dean, you just said Nangong Ba is only *one* of the most likely to take first place. Is there someone else on his level?"

In the Astral Realm, he had encountered many elites from other worlds, but Nangong Ba was the only one who had given him a sense of extreme danger.

As for any others, Chen Yu simply hadn’t run into them.

But it wasn’t as if he’d met every elite from every world. It was possible there were other unknown masters out there.

The dean nodded.

"Who?" Chen Yu asked, curious.

"An elite from Pole Star named Jiang Can. He also possesses a supreme ability on par with Chaos Power."

Chen Yu committed the name to memory.

"His ability is Fey Power."

"This ability allows him to devour and to modify reality. Once it targets you, it can easily invade your mind, perceive everything about you, and take complete control of your body."

"Fey Power..."

’This power... HISS... that’s insane!’

Chen Yu couldn’t help but suck in a sharp breath.

’Modifying reality, invading minds, controlling thoughts...’

’It’s practically invincible!’

Even if one becomes a True God, the ability might not be fully awakened. But once it is, its wielder would be nigh-invincible.

’Supreme abilities... damn, every single one of them is terrifying!’

’Phoenix Power, Chaos Power, Fey Power!’

You can’t really say which is stronger; it all depends on how the user wields it. When fully awakened, all three of these supreme abilities are invincible on their own.

"This power is in no way inferior to Chaos Power or Phoenix Power!" Chen Yu exclaimed.

The dean looked at him and said, "These three supreme powers are on par with one another. Only a supreme power that combines two, or even all three, could surpass them."

"That’s impossible, right?" Chen Yu said.

But the dean shook his head. "There you’re wrong."

Chen Yu: "???"

’Wait, something like that really fucking exists?!’

Looking at the dean, Chen Yu felt as if a massive boulder had been dropped into his heart.

’Three-in-one... what level of power would that even be?’

The dean took a sip of tea. "Among our Human Race, there was once a person who possessed all three of these supreme powers. And they were fully awakened."

"..."

"Who was it?" Chen Yu stared at the dean.

"The Great Emperor of our Human Race."

"The Firmament Emperor!!!"

Chen Yu looked at the dean and blurted it out.

The dean nodded. "Mm, that very Great Emperor. If he hadn’t disappeared, his fate unknown, the Human Race’s position in the Celestial River Star System would likely be very different today."

Chen Yu was silent.

’I knew the Great Emperor was powerful!’

’But to have all three supreme powers... that’s just ridiculously strong!’
