In the darkness, Chen Yu’s heart lurched as he scanned the area with his Force Field.

This middle-aged man, who looked just like a human, was actually a member of the Demon Lizard Race!

The middle-aged man appeared before the two of them, his face shifting to reveal his true appearance.

The two men showed no surprise at the sight of the alien figure before them. It was as if they had been waiting for him as they bowed deeply.

The Demon Lizard savored their deference, nodding lightly. "No need for such ceremony. You’re the one from the Divine Authority Council responsible for the arrangements?"

The hooded man nodded. "Yes, Lord Reka."

"What’s the situation?" the Demon Lizard asked, looking at the hooded man.

The hooded man replied, "Everything is going according to plan. Please rest assured, Lord Reka."

The Demon Lizard nodded. Looking at him, he said, "Good. If it’s all going according to plan, then I can relax. I trust the Divine Authority Council won’t disappoint me this time."

"Rest assured, Lord. We certainly won’t," the hooded man replied, his face a mask of reverence.

"My Lord, you’ve come a long way. Why not rest here for the night? I have already arranged for two young girls to be provided. I guarantee your satisfaction," the hooded man said, looking at the Demon Lizard.

At this, the Demon Lizard’s eyes lit up, and a smile spread across his face. "You’re quite thoughtful."

"It’s only right," the hooded man replied with a smile.

"Fine, then lead the way. It’s been a long time since I’ve indulged myself," the Demon Lizard said with a nod.

"Yes, my Lord, right this way!" the hooded man said with a humble expression.

"Leaving? The scenery here is so beautiful. I think it would be better if the three of you stayed."

Just then, a voice suddenly drifted into their ears.

Instantly, all their expressions changed drastically.

A cold gleam flashed in the darkness. The next second, a bloody blade had pierced through the Demon Lizard’s chest, shattering his heart.

The faces of the hooded man and the man in black contorted in horror. They frantically activated their Superpowers and Qi, but before they could make a move...
