A Great Emperor!

’Could a Great Emperor be suppressed inside this pyramid?’

’Or is it something else, like Maya said?’

These thoughts flashed through Chen Yu’s mind as he looked at the glowing pyramid before him, his gaze sweeping over the surroundings.

He quickly locked onto an entrance to the pyramid.

The entrance, several meters high, was shrouded in a faint light.

"Do you guys want to go in and take a look?"

Chen Yu asked, looking at Maya and the others.

"I’m fine with it. You decide," Maya said.

"Me too," Liu Mei said with a nod.

Zhuge Qingfeng hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, let’s check it out. We’ve come all this way, after all."

"Let’s go in then." With everyone in agreement, Chen Yu spoke and was the first to head toward the pyramid’s entrance.

The others followed behind him. Soon, the group arrived before the entrance.

The entrance was dark and deep, its end seemingly out of sight.

The group exchanged glances. They cloaked themselves in protective Qi, ready to unleash their Superpowers at a moment’s notice. Once they were fully prepared, they entered the pyramid’s passage.

The entrance passage was much like the previous ones.

After advancing for several dozen meters, the view suddenly opened up, and a vast space appeared before them.

Unlike the other pyramids, this one was completely empty inside.

It was a space a thousand meters high.

And before the four of them stood several statues, each four to five hundred meters tall.

There were three statues in total, all of them humanoid.

However, two of the statues were already in ruins.

Their heads had been destroyed. Only the central, humanoid statue was relatively intact.

’Such a massive pyramid, just to preserve three statues?’

The group stared at the three statues, stunned for a moment.

Snapping back to their senses, they carefully tried to detect any signs of life, but there was nothing.

These were indeed just three ordinary statues, albeit unusually large ones.

Three statues: two in ruins, one perfectly preserved.

Chen Yu’s gaze fell upon the fully preserved statue.

This humanoid statue was not human; it also had a pair of stone wings.

It looked so lifelike, as if a living monster had been sealed here.

"Why are there such huge statues in here?" Zhuge Qingfeng asked, staring at the three figures in astonishment.

"Could they be hiding some kind of secret?" Maya wondered aloud.

Chen Yu surveyed the pyramid’s vast interior. Besides the three statues, the only other things on the floor were some broken chunks of stone. It looked like they were the remains of the other two statues’ shattered heads.

Other than the three giant statues, there was nothing else unusual.

"Is there something wrong with the statue?" Liu Mei asked.

"We’ll find out if we test it," Zhuge Qingfeng replied. He immediately raised a hand, and a powerful surge of Qi erupted. He threw a punch, forming a Powerful Qi Fist Seal that shot toward the intact statue in the center.

"HUMMM—!"

The Powerful Qi Fist Seal struck the statue, but there was no explosion.

It was as if the statue could absorb attack energy; it simply absorbed Zhuge Qingfeng’s strike.

The attack didn’t cause the slightest stir!

"Huh!"

A look of bewilderment crossed Zhuge Qingfeng’s face.

The others were also surprised.

The statue looked perfectly ordinary and had no Life Fluctuations, so how could it possibly absorb an attack?

The second fist seal struck the statue, but the result was the same—it was absorbed.

But there was something off about the statue before them.

A light of Qi bloomed as Zhuge Qingfeng punched again, this time aiming for one of the ruined statues.

"KRAK—!"

"BOOM!!"

When the ferocious Powerful Qi Fist Seal landed on the ruined statue, the dilapidated figure collapsed in an instant.

Stone fragments flew everywhere!

With one punch, he had completely dismantled the ruined statue that was hundreds of meters tall.

Immediately, he threw another punch, and the second ruined statue was also demolished.

The two ruined statues crumbled, leaving a pile of rubble on the ground.

Only the single, perfectly intact statue remained.

The two ruined statues were destroyed by a single punch as expected, but the intact one was completely different.

Staring at the statue before him, Zhuge Qingfeng’s figure flashed, and he landed back on the ground.

He had to admit the truth: he was no match for this statue.

The force of his punch was like a clay ox sinking into the sea; all his power had been neutralized.

He couldn’t defeat this statue.

"It’s okay. Maybe your power just wasn’t enough. Don’t worry about it," Maya said, patting Zhuge Qingfeng on the shoulder.
