Chapter 31: Treasures That Could Buy the Town
Several of the oldest crows tilted their heads to look at Chu Xun and cawed twice.
Chu Xun couldn't understand them, but he knew they weren't denying it.
After a moment of silence, Chu Xun squatted down and patted the heads of these old crows.
"Don't do this again in the future."
The old crows raised their heads, rubbed against his palm, and cawed twice more.
Chu Xun seemed to understand what they were saying and nodded, "In the future, I will get justice for you."
Although the crows suffered casualties fighting with unknown things for him, to Chu Xun, the crows were acquaintances.
Regardless of right or wrong, dead is dead, and he had to demand an explanation.
Just like the fight for water back then, so many people died in Pinecone Village.
