"Indeed... Thank you for the technique, Miss..." looking at the lady smiling as she stands right in front of him, not paling in terms of stature as she is only a couple on inches shorter than him, Azrael said with genuine gratitude in his voice, as after all, Immortal Energy even if not the strongest, is the most important tool in his current arsenal due to the immense boost in regeneration that it grants him.
"There’s no need for words of gratitude, they’re not really something you can believe in after all" the lady said with ambiguity in her voice, clearly hinting at something, and Azrael, being quite clever despite his usual demeanor, manages to catch up to her intent.
"Right, so what does such god-like entity wants with a mere second-floor ascender like me?" feeling like she might come from a place farther than even the highest floor that the ascenders of Earth have ever reached, the tenth floor, the young man asked, his question making the lady smile as she answers without hesitation.
