"And you just let him slip out of you detection huh?" looking at the group of ladies with one of their knees on the ground trying their best to avoid their gaze, a cold, composed beauty said as she swirled the wine glass she is holding in her hand, the black dress perfectly fitting her graceful curves further accentuating the terrifying atmosphere somehow.
"M-mistress, we confirmed that the target just returns to the city for now, those other people previously tailing him was dealt with by him alone, so we think there’s no need to worry too much about his safety for now" the lady leading this group starts explaining, her words making them feel like the air is getting lighter as if the beauty in front of them is starting to calm down.
"Haah... I even sent you five to make sure that he wouldn’t get out of your sight... to think that he had grown that skilled after almost a decade..." looking at the figures respectfully kneeling in front of her, the cold beauty muttered more to herself rather than to them, her words still reaching the ears of these ladies given that their senses are already immensely enhanced by their growth ascending the tower.
After all, these five are people who are currently on what can only be classified as Earth’s current peak in the tower, all of them being ascenders who had successfully climbed to the tenth floor of the Ethereal Tower, where the leader of the Six Great Legia is currently stuck as well.
"You all have gathered enough information about him to update the database, you’ve done more than enough, all of you can return to strengthening yourself now, the next attempt on the Temple of Despair will start in three months, after we gather enough Return Crystals for everyone."
