Chapter 37: We Should All Get Ready
"Hahaha, why the hell are you all even trying to escape?" looking at the next target gradually getting farther and farther away from the location he starts his slaughter, the young man asked as he laughs his heart out feeling quite satisfied as he knows that each of the monsters he killed will make him even stronger, prompting him to hunt as much of them as he could, the only thing limiting him being the fact that other monsters might target the dead ones he killed previously.
Dashing from his current position all the way towards the new target in one smooth motion, the young man once again appears in front of the new monster, swinging the jet-black sword in his hand without a trace of mercy on his face, severing the connection between this titanic snake’s monster’s head and body, making it fall down to the ground.
"That was great..." finding that there’s no more monster that he can chase, this young man then smiles as he wept the sweat on his forehead with satisfaction apparent on his face, the sword in his hand already finding its way stabbing on the snake monster’s flesh, the body of said monster already starting to shrivel in a speed visible to the naked eyes, the sword absorbing all its life force not even taking a minutes to turn this full carcass into nothing but husk and bones.
After finishing the process, the young man couldn’t help but smile as another screen from the guide appeared once again, notifying him of his improvement from absorbing this monster’s life force alone.

After looking at the improvements of his stats, the young man’s figure then starts disappearing and reappearing in certain spots in this lush forest once again, the spots he is appearing on being the location of the monsters he previously killed, skillfully burying the Evil Fang Sword within these monsters’ carcasses in a practiced motion, as if he is already so used to doing this sort of thing.
