And as the peace period settled in, the pace of each village's activity appeared to slow somewhat.

If there was one official task still available to him, it was simply taking Baki and the others along on inspection tours throughout the Land of Wind, surveying the progress of the Land of Wind's environmental improvement efforts.

Across from him, Baki and Yura were both drenched in sweat, barely holding on.

They had been taking turns sparring with the Kazekage in taijutsu exchanges. But Yuji was not being remotely serious. He was purely in training mode, with every strike deliberately pulled back. Even so, the combat pressure both of them were experiencing was unlike anything they had felt before.
