Chapter 305: Registration with Flying Colors
Alexander was sitting, watching the supervisor get up off the floor and put her clothes back on. Despite how rough he had been with her, she wore a tender, smitten smile as she adjusted her skirt.
"My name is Kiara," said the supervisor, looking at him sweetly.
"I’m Alexander, I just arrived in this place," said Alex. "Nice to meet you."
"It’s a bit late for formalities," said Kiara, letting out a soft chuckle. "I won’t hold you responsible for anything. If I have a child of yours, I’ll give them your name."
Alex went blank for a moment; he had forgotten about that. Seeing the surprise on Alex’s face, Kiara giggled.
"Just kidding, today is a safe day," said Kiara, fixing her blouse. "Though with how much cum you filled me with, it could happen... You have a good dick, Alexander."
"Thanks," said Alex, cracking a faint smile. "So, did I pass?"
"With flying colors," said Kiara, walking over to her desk to pick up some documents. "Let me process your registration. In the meantime, you can start your awakening—here you go."
She pulled a glowing gem from a sealed drawer and placed it in his hand.
"The stone only gives you one chance, don’t waste it," said Kiara.
Kiara gave him one last knowing look and left the room to process the paperwork leaving Alex alone.
Alex stood staring at the stone in his hand. He had no idea how to use it and had forgotten to ask.
Should I eat it? Or crush it? thought Alex, looking at the glowing gem.
He decided to try squeezing it with his fingers. As he did, the stone began to crumble, falling apart as if it were simple sand.
Alex panicked for a second, thinking he had broken it, but the glowing dust didn’t fall to the floor. Instead, the fine grains began to flow through the pores of his hand, disappearing beneath his skin.
He stared at his palm, unable to comprehend what was happening, until he suddenly felt a drastic change inside his body. His heart began to burn with a scorching heat, while his brain started to freeze with an extreme chill. Both currents rushed through his bloodstream, ascending toward his neck, where he felt his throat becoming the exact meeting point.
The thermal shock was so savage and brutal that Alex felt as if his neck was about to burst open from the inside. The pain and pressure overwhelmed him causing him to knock out cold and collapse onto the floor.
Alex woke up in the same place, lying on the cold floor. To his side was Kiara, watching him closely. Alex sat up with a massive headache and his whole body feeling sore.
"What happened?" asked Alex, rubbing his forehead.
"It was a success, you awakened the first level," said Kiara, smiling at him with relief. "Do you feel any different?"
Alex began checking his arms, hands, and torso, looking for any obvious changes.
"No, nothing strange," said Alex. "I feel exactly the same as always. My head just hurts a little."
"Don’t worry, that’s normal," said Kiara. "Sometimes it takes a day or two to wake up or manifest, take it easy. Here, I brought you this."
She handed him a vial containing a bright orange drink.
"What is it?" asked Alex, taking the container.
"It’s a catalyst," said Kiara. "It’ll help stabilize your awakening."
Alex unstoppered the vial and downed it in one gulp. Immediately, he felt his brain begin to refresh in a pleasant way, as if the liquid had gone straight to his head to soothe the pressure.
"That feels great," said Alex, exhaling slowly. "It took away some of the headache."
Kiara stared at him and broke into a subtle smile of satisfaction.
"Looks like your skill is magic-type," said Kiara, crossing her arms. "Interesting, I’ve never seen a male mage before."
"Magic?" asked Alex, raising an eyebrow.
"That’s right, magic," said Kiara. "The catalyst I gave you is special to our guild and only has two functions: if it refreshes your brain, you’re a magic type; if it heats up your body, you’re a physical type."
Alex stayed silent, digesting the woman’s words. He didn’t tell her anything, but the reality was that the liquid hadn’t just cooled his mind, he felt his entire body starting to heat up... especially his dick, which was burning from the inside with overwhelming heat.
"And how do I know what skill I got?" asked Alex, hiding the heat rushing through his body.
"We have no idea how it works," said Kiara, shrugging her shoulders. "The god of this world grants his blessings, and he cannot be questioned."
"What’s your god’s name?" asked Alex, looking closely at the woman.
"The god of this world has no name," said Kiara reverently, "but his word descends under the Church of Light."
Damn... a church, thought Alex for a moment. I hope I don’t end up clashing with them.
"Does your guild obey the church?" asked Alex, keeping his tone casual.
"The church doesn’t get involved in worldly affairs, so they don’t give orders," said Kiara, smiling warmly. "They only help people they’re saints."
Alex nodded slowly in silence. It made perfect sense to pretend not to get involved while controlling everything beneath the surface; it sounded like the biggest classic among the churches of his original world.
"Praise the god of light," said Alex, trying not to show his true thoughts.
"May the blessing of the god of light be with you," answered Kiara, touching her chest with respect.
Alex stood up, adjusting his clothes while trying to change the subject without being too abrupt.
"And what skill do you have?" asked Alex, looking at her with curiosity.
"My skill is called Wind Claws," said Kiara, smiling with pride. "Do you want to see it?"
Alex nodded. He was excited this would be the first time he would see real magic with his own eyes.
