His disappointment quickly gave way to a realization. ’It’s only normal that I can’t see the Array’s patterns. If they were visible, it would mean they could be sabotaged. Now *that* would be abnormal.’

A butterfly glowing with a silver sheen had appeared in the room at some point. Unlike an ordinary butterfly, this one was nearly the size of a human head and looked breathtakingly beautiful.
The silver butterfly appeared abruptly beside the mustached man. After circling him once, it dove into the pitch-black rift without a moment’s hesitation.

As the colossal eyes vanished, the spatial fissure sealed itself, and the Array returned to a state of calm.
