Chapter 488 - 451: Emperor Beast
A look of anticipation spread across Li Qian’s face as he watched the Light of Evolution nearly fill the entire Cultivation Room.
He had already learned some things about this Pet Beast from the knowledge instilled in him after completing his mission, but information was just information. Seeing it in person was another matter entirely.
The Light of Evolution filled the entire Cultivation Room, but it didn’t last long, fading out after about ten minutes.
Once the Light of Evolution faded, a boar-like Pet Beast appeared before Li Qian in the Cultivation Room. It stood about five meters tall and ten meters long, its body a mass of bulging muscle covered in dark red Scale Armor. A mane like willow catkins ran along its neck and tail, and its massive tusks curved high into the air as it stood on all fours.
A satisfied smile spread across Li Qian’s face as he beheld the result of the evolution.
He immediately activated his Beast Taming Talent, the Eye of True Sight, to inspect the creature.
As he activated the Eye of True Sight, lines of information appeared before his eyes.

A confused look appeared on Li Qian’s face as he read the information on the newly evolved Emperor Beast.
’For a Pet Beast with Tier Seven Emperor potential, it shouldn’t have so few Skills, even if it’s only at Commander Fourth Rank.’
’With so few Skills, and being a Dual Attribute, it’s probably weaker than an average Pet Beast with Dominator Level potential.’

Seeing this, an idea struck Li Qian. He directly sent a message to the Emperor Beast via Telepathy. ’Emperor Beast, what’s wrong? You want to have a go at me?’
The Emperor Beast’s expression faltered for a moment as it heard the voice in its mind.
Once it processed what was happening and recognized Li Qian’s voice, it lowered its head slightly.
Its intelligence was quite high now that it had evolved.

"But not her," he said, gesturing towards the cat. "She just helped you evolve and used up a lot of her Energy. She’s no match for you right now."
As Li Qian spoke, he could clearly sense the Six-tailed Cat’s own displeasure.
’Master, I’m not afraid! Let me fight this big fat pig,’ the Six-tailed Cat’s thoughts came through, sounding like a little girl’s voice.
Hearing the voice in his mind, Li Qian placated her. ’Don’t be so hasty. This guy is no simple matter now. I’m going to have the Tidal Sea Spirit test its abilities.’
The Six-tailed Cat immediately fell silent upon hearing that Li Qian planned to let the Tidal Sea Spirit handle it.

This Pet Beast was, of course, the Emperor Beast.

"The real deal," Li Qian said with a smile, stepping out from behind the Emperor Beast as he watched Pei Yuanyuan’s over-the-top reaction.
Pei Yuanyuan finally noticed Li Qian, her mind reeling. "I can’t believe... you actually... succeeded?!"
Hearing this, Li Qian looked at Pei Yuanyuan and teased, "What, did you really not believe I could do it?"
"I, uh, I..." Pei Yuanyuan immediately caught herself and started to backpedal.
For a moment, however, she was at a loss for how to explain herself.
Seeing the young woman’s flustered expression, Li Qian couldn’t help but laugh heartily. "Haha, don’t worry about it. To be honest, sometimes even I think my cultivation methods are a bit sketchy."
Seeing the smile on Li Qian’s face, Pei Yuanyuan knew he was just teasing. She let out a long sigh of relief. Then, her gaze turned fiery as she looked at the Emperor Beast. "Okay, first, let me see the Emperor Beast’s stats."

"Well, you’d better be careful. The Emperor Beast will give you a real shock." Hearing Li Qian’s plan, Pei Yuanyuan understood its implications. A strange, knowing smile played on her lips as she offered the warning.
