Inside the car, Li Yueting was doubled over with laughter.

"The look on my uncle’s face just now is going to be the death of me! You’re way too good at pushing people’s buttons."

"How is that pushing his buttons? Who I choose to buy from is my own business, isn’t it?"

"If you keep this up, you’re really going to give him a heart attack."

With that, Lin Jiang drove the car onto the highway.

"Brother, is this the way to Nanshan Resort?" Li Yueting asked.

The entrance to the resort was crowded with parked cars. When Xu Yingjun and Li Yueting stepped out, they drew quite a few envious glances.

The passenger seat and back row of a luxury car never disappoint.

"Huh?" Li Yueting murmured.

"Junjun, look at that tour bus up ahead. It looks a little familiar, I think it might be from our university."

Following Li Yueting’s gaze, Lin Jiang saw a tour bus up ahead.

He shifted his position slightly and saw the words "Hang City University of Finance and Economics" written in large characters on its side.

"It really is one of our university’s buses."

A gentle breeze tousled Xu Yingjun’s hair. She let out a soft hum. "Probably some class that rented a university bus to come have fun."

"Come on, let’s go! Let’s head inside and take a look. We might find some cute underclassmen."

The three of them went to the resort entrance, bought tickets, and began to wander around inside.

"Brother Jiang, the sun’s pretty strong out here. Do you want to put on some sunscreen?"

As she spoke, Xu Yingjun had already taken out the sunscreen she carried with her.

"Sure, I’ll take some."

Xu Yingjun stopped and squeezed a little onto Lin Jiang’s hand.

Lin Jiang rubbed it between his hands, then casually smeared it on his face.

Xu Yingjun squeezed some sunscreen out for Li Yueting.

"You’ve got your eye on my brother, don’t you?" Li Yueting asked, narrowing her eyes at Xu Yingjun.

"You’re not trying to become my sister-in-law, are you?"

"W-What are you talking about? Brother Jiang was the one who dragged me along to hang out. Isn’t it normal for me to give him a little hand cream?"

"Is that so?"

Li Yueting sized up Xu Yingjun and said with a teasing smile, "But I think that idea is worth exploring."

"Huh? Exploring what?"

"Exploring the two of you, of course," Li Yueting said.

"My brother is what you’d call a diamond bachelor now. He’s got the looks and the height, and you’re the campus belle of our University of Finance and Economics. You two would actually look pretty good together."

"Don’t be ridiculous, I don’t see him that way."

"You’re the one who said it. My brother is a hot commodity right now. I know of several girls who are after him. If you don’t make your move, you’ll lose your chance."

"I don’t know what you’re talking about."

Xu Yingjun quickened her pace, the blush on her cheeks already spreading to her neck.

"Let’s see how long you can keep up that act," Li Yueting muttered to herself.

The resort offered a wide variety of activities, including grass skiing, bumper cars, cable cars, fishing, and hiking, all available on-site.

Lin Jiang spent the morning with the two of them, trying out all the activities before they headed to the resort’s restaurant for lunch.

"Everything here is so expensive. It’s at least twice the price of what you’d pay in the city," Xu Yingjun whispered as she looked through the menu.

"Well, it’s a tourist spot, so being expensive is normal," Li Yueting said, casually flipping through her own menu.

"We might be family in the future, so just order whatever you want. No need to save my brother any money."

"What do you mean, family?"

Embarrassed, Xu Yingjun pinched Li Yueting under the table.

"We’re so close, we’re like family. My brother is your brother, isn’t that right? Where did your mind go?" Li Yueting said in a deliberately teasing tone.

"You didn’t think I meant you should become my sister-in-law, did you? You just said you don’t see him that way, so of course I wouldn’t assume anything."

Xu Yingjun’s face turned bright red. "Can’t even a meal shut that mouth of yours? Just hurry up and order."

"Alrighty then."

Knowing Lin Jiang was rich, Li Yueting didn’t hold back at all, ordering everything she felt like eating.

"Yingjun, what are you doing here?"

They had just finished ordering when a voice called out from the entrance.

Xu Yingjun and Li Yueting looked up to see a young man with short hair and sweatpants walking toward their table.

Behind him followed a group of more than twenty people.

"What the hell, why is he here?" Li Yueting muttered.

The man’s name was Tang Jinming. He was the student council president at Hang City University of Finance and Economics and another one of Xu Yingjun’s suitors.

"Who’s that?" Lin Jiang asked casually.

"Remember on the way here, I told you Junjun had two suitors? He’s the other one," Li Yueting said.

"Brother Jiang, please don’t misunderstand. I’m not interested in him at all. He’s the one who keeps pestering me," Xu Yingjun explained.
