Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny

Chapter 206: The Rescue Target Rescues Herself

The front man’s face darkened even more after hearing Damian’s shameless answer.

His grip tightened around his sword hilt. "A handsome passerby? Who the hell do you think you are?"

The other two men also frowned.

In the [Core Sword Domain], anyone who dared to casually interfere was either powerful, stupid, or both.

Damian looked at the three of them and smiled wider. "Me?"

He lightly tapped his chest with one finger. "My name is Damian. Do you know it?"

The three men paused.

A moment later, the man on the left frowned. "Damian?"

The man on the right looked confused. "Who the hell is that?"

Damian’s expression froze slightly.

"Damn. My fame still hasn’t spread enough?"

The front man sneered. "Never heard of you."

Damian’s mouth twitched.

Before he could speak, the man on the left suddenly stiffened. "Wait... Senior Brother, I know him."

The other two turned toward him.

The man swallowed once and lowered his voice. "He’s Damian. The disciple of Elder Selvara, one of the high-ranking elders of the Heavenly Sword Sect."

The moment those words came out, the three men’s expressions changed.

Elder Selvara.

That name carried weight.

Even outside force cultivators knew that woman was not someone to provoke casually.

Her sword was cold, her temper was worse, and the number of people who had offended her and lived comfortably afterward was basically zero.

The front man’s arrogant expression stiffened.

The man on the right quickly lowered his sword slightly. "So it’s Senior Brother Damian. We didn’t recognize you."

Damian looked at them with clear amusement. "Oh? Your attitude changed pretty fast."

The front man forced a smile. "Misunderstanding. Just a misunderstanding."

The young woman behind them looked at Damian with a little surprise.

Damian noticed but did not turn around yet.

The front man quickly continued, "Senior Brother Damian, since you are here, why not join us? This woman is a fugitive of the Valeria Clan. If we capture her, there will definitely be benefits. We can split the reward."

Damian stared at him for a moment before chuckling. "Join you?"

The three men nodded carefully.

Damian’s smile became brighter before he laughed. "Do you not know my fame here?"

Their faces froze again, not understanding why Damian suddenly said that.

The man on the left soon realized something.

His expression changed. "Damn it... Brother."

The front man frowned. "What now?"

The man on the left whispered quickly, "Damian is famous as a shameless pervert who gives gifts to beautiful women. Look at her."

The three men’s gazes moved toward the young woman.

Even injured and tense, she was still extremely beautiful.

Their faces turned ugly at once.

The front man slowly looked back at Damian.

Damian spread his hands innocently. "What? I never said the rumors were wrong."

The young woman’s expression twitched.

Damian stepped forward, his smile fading little by little. "Now then."

Chaos Qi slowly moved around his fingers. "Are you three leaving by yourselves, or should I help you roll away?"

The front man’s face twisted in disgust. "Damian, you are a righteous cultivator of the Heavenly Sword Sect. How can you do this?"

He pointed at the young woman behind him. "This woman is a fugitive, a villain, and maybe even a demonic cultivator. Helping her means standing against justice."

Damian looked at him for a moment.

A second later, he grinned. "You know... there are quite a lot of women who get wrongfully slandered in this world."

His eyes moved toward the young woman for half a breath before returning to the three men. "So there’s a chance she’s not wrong at all."

The three cultivators frowned at once.

The man on the left cursed under his breath. "Damn it."

The front man’s expression became colder. "Then you can only die here too."

The man on the right immediately stiffened. "Brother, but he is..."

"No need to worry," the front man cut him off sharply. "Didn’t the Sword Hall elder already say it? Life and death depend on ourselves inside the Sword Tomb."

His killing intent rose. "No one will know if we kill him here."

Damian’s grin became wider. "Hehe... you finally showed your real face, huh?"

Chaos Qi slowly gathered around his hand.

The gray mist shifted.

The white sword domain behind them hummed softly.

The three men tightened their grips around their swords, all their attention locked onto Damian.

At that exact moment, the young woman moved.

A thin red line flashed through the mist.

SHING!

The man on the right froze first.

His eyes widened, but his mouth could no longer make a sound.

A second red sword light crossed the air.

SWISH!

The man on the left’s head flew from his shoulders.

The front man finally reacted, but it was already too late.

The young woman appeared behind him, and a dark-blue line on her sword glowed faintly.

Her voice was cold. "You talked too much."

The front man’s pupils shrank.

The sword passed through his neck.

SHING!

His head fell.

THUD.

Three bodies collapsed almost at the same time.

The gray mist swallowed their blood, and the white sword domain remained quietly shining behind her, as if nothing had happened.

Damian stood there with Chaos Qi still wrapped around his fingers.

For once, he was genuinely surprised. "Damn."

He looked at the three dead men, then at the young woman.

A slow smile returned to his face. "Beautiful, decisive, and ruthless. Not bad."

The young woman flicked the blood from her sword and looked at him calmly. "You were too slow."

Damian’s mouth twitched. "Hey, I was building atmosphere."

The young woman stared at him for a moment.

Her gaze was sharp, cautious, and completely unmoved by his shameless excuse.

Damian lowered his hand and let the Chaos Qi fade from his fingers. "Anyway, you handled that pretty well."

She looked down at the three corpses, then calmly searched their bodies with practiced movements.

She took everything useful without hesitation.

Damian watched silently for half a breath before nodding with approval. "Good habit."

The young woman glanced at him. "They wanted to capture me. Their things are compensation."

Damian’s eyes brightened slightly. "Exactly. Finally, someone who understands basic logic."

She ignored his pleased expression and put the items away.

Only after that did she turn toward him properly.
