The morning light crept through the cave entrance as Damon sat at the edge of the ruined bed.
Flare slept beside him, her breathing steady, her body still radiating residual heat.
The others were awake.

The room fell completely quiet. Even Alena’s hands stilled above her herbs.
"Explain," Damon said, his golden eyes settling on her with calm, measured attention.
Ariel looked at each woman in turn.
"The Yin-Yang Harem Scripture connects us to Damon. But it also connects us to each other. We’ve been cultivating in pairs, in threes. But we’ve never done it as a full circle."
Seraphina pushed off the wall.
"That’s dangerous. If the energy flow breaks, we all suffer."
"Then we don’t let it break." Ariel said.
Alena set down her herbs.
"She’s right. The scripture is designed for this. A closed loop of yin and yang. If we synchronize, the cultivation speed multiplies."
Flare stirred on the bed.
She sat up, her eyes heavy.
"What are you all talking about?"
"Group cultivation." Damon said.
Flare looked at him, then at the others.
"Fine. But if anyone’s qi clashes with mine, I’m not responsible for the burns."
Ariel smiled.
"Then we’re agreed."
They cleared the center of the cave.
The women formed a circle on the stone floor, naked, their bodies glistening with a thin layer of spiritual dew.
Ariel sat at the north point.

Alena and Flare took the intermediate positions, completing the hexagon.
Damon stood in the center.
"Whenever you’re ready." he said.
Ariel closed her eyes.

The cave grew cold.
