Naruto pointed furiously at him. "What did you say, you old perv!? We're the ones who should be annoyed! I don't want a pervert like you teaching me anything!"

Jiraiya lazily picked his nose. "Then leave. I didn't want to teach you anyway. Imagine the shame if word got out that a legendary ninja like me trained a fool. People would laugh their teeth out."

"You calling me a fool?! I'll teach you a lesson!"

Naruto rushed at him.

Jiraiya grinned. "One finger's all I need to handle a brat like you."

"Don't underestimate me!"

Just as Naruto was about to land a punch, Jiraiya vanished—reappearing behind him.

"Huh? Where'd he go?"

Suddenly, a sinister voice echoed behind him:
