The crisp sound of impact echoed in their ears. The newcomer was charging straight through the hail of bullets, moving like a runaway truck as he stormed across the concrete floor.

A closer look revealed his incredibly burly physique. He stood a full 1.9 meters tall, with broad shoulders and a thick back, like a humanoid beast of prey.

He wore a black leather trench coat, now shredded by bullets, revealing the knotted, sinewy muscles underneath.

When a high-explosive grenade was thrown at him, he simply reached out and caught it.

Sun Jiayuan and a few others were sent flying backward, their faces pale, crashing into various corners of the concrete complex.

"It's you!"

Her sharp eyes filled with killing intent as Silver Moon, the sword in Yao Jin's hand, let out a low hum.

Lu Chao caught a glimpse out of the corner of his eye. His enhanced vision pierced through the smoke and dust, quickly identifying the newcomer.

It was a woman in a green gossamer dress, her long, black hair slightly curled and cascading over her shoulders. She looked to be about thirty years old.

She had a tattoo of a thorny vine on her face. It was Ink Green Rattan, one of the Superpower Level commanders of the Blackthorn Wilderness Warlord faction—a peak Limit-Breaking Level expert who had mastered the power of Telekinesis.

"What in the world are you warlords trying to do?"

Yao Jin demanded coldly, charging forward with her sword without hesitation to relieve the pressure on her subordinates.

She could see how dire the situation was.

'It's not just the armed militants, who I suspect are Rebels.'

'Now, even the Wilderness Warlords from outside the city have joined the ambush?'
