Chapter 198: Room 2
Inside it, a demon was being kept trapped, completely surrounded by the containment device.
The entire test tube was covered in numerous formations and enchantments, layered over one another to prevent the demon from escaping.
The vessel quietly looked at the room for a moment before turning his attention toward the demon sealed inside.
The demon sealed inside had no definite body. It was simply a mass of darkness.
It was a Shadow Demon, similar to a Shadow Beast but possessing the characteristics and nature of a demon. Unlike beasts, its nature was hostile, and it could use the Shadow Element.
However, the demon was now completely restrained. It couldn’t use its abilities and was also unconscious.
Asher then looked at the formations surrounding the tube, carefully examining them and looking for a way to deactivate them, because he was going to free this demon soon.
Meanwhile, the other vessels also entered Room 7.
Inside Room 7 was a Master-rank Dream Demon. As soon as Asher entered the room, the Dream Demon immediately reacted and attempted to enter his consciousness, trying to force him into a nightmare.
In the next moment, Asher found himself once again inside the same space where he had existed before being reborn into this world.
Asher looked around him, but there was nothing to see.
There was no ground, no sky, and no sign of anything else. Only endless darkness surrounded him in every direction.
Asher remained calm as he observed the familiar place for a moment. He quickly realized that the Dream Demon was using his memories to construct the nightmare.
However, the nightmare was far too weak to affect him.
Asher easily destroyed the illusion and broke free from the Dream Demon’s consciousness.
A moment later, he returned to the real world and found himself standing inside Room 7 once again.
Asher then looked toward the Dream Demon for a moment.
Even while being completely restrained, it had still been able to influence him through its abilities, just like the Empath Demon had managed to do before. This alone made Asher realize how troublesome the abilities of these demons could be if they were allowed to act freely.
The Dream Demon was now fully awake and looking directly at Asher, but Asher didn’t pay any further attention to it.
He immediately began searching for the mechanism that controlled the restraints surrounding the containment chamber.
There was no reason to waste any more time.
Meanwhile, in Room 6 and Room 5, two enormous demons were being kept inside their respective containment chambers.
Both of them were also Master-rank demons, their massive bodies completely restrained by the formations and enchantments surrounding them.
The demon sealed inside Room 6 was enormous, standing several meters tall even while restrained.
Its body was covered in thick, dark-gray scales that overlapped across its entire body, resembling natural metal plating. Several large horns curved backward from its head, while its hands ended in thick claws capable of tearing through solid material.
Despite being completely restrained, its body still radiated the oppressive aura of a Master-rank demon.
The formations surrounding the containment chamber constantly suppressed its strength, preventing it from moving freely or using its abilities. Even so, the demon occasionally struggled against the restraints, causing the formations to briefly flicker.
It was an Ironhide Demon, a species known for its immense physical strength and extraordinarily durable body.
The demon inside Room 5 was equally enormous, but its appearance was completely different.
It possessed a massive humanoid body formed from dark volcanic rock, with glowing cracks running across its arms, chest, and legs. Faint heat radiated from its body, and the areas around the cracks occasionally emitted a dull red glow, giving the impression of molten material beneath its rocky exterior.
Its head was large and roughly shaped, with two thick horns protruding from its sides. Its enormous hands were formed from layers of hardened rock, while its entire body looked incredibly heavy and durable.
Its eyes remained closed, and it was completely unconscious. Even so, its massive body still gave off the oppressive aura of a Master-rank demon.
It was a Lava Golem, a powerful demon species known for its immense physical strength and extremely durable body and being able to use lava naturally from their body.
Asher looked at the demon trapped inside the room, and a surprised expression appeared on his face.
The demon sealed inside this room was a Grandmaster-rank Null Demon.
Its body was completely humanoid, but it was enormous compared to an ordinary human. Its muscular frame was covered in dark skin, and even while unconscious, it gave off an oppressive presence that made the entire room feel heavy.
Unlike the other demons, the Null Demon was restrained in a completely different manner.
Since it possessed the ability to absorb mana from elemental attacks, ordinary suppression formations would be far less effective against it. Instead, its enormous body was bound by several thick enchanted chains.
The chains were wrapped tightly around its arms, torso, and legs, with countless runes glowing faintly across their surface. They seemed to be constantly draining the power from the Null Demon’s body while simultaneously keeping it unconscious.
As a result, the Grandmaster-rank demon couldn’t move or resist, despite its terrifying strength.
Asher looked at the demon for a moment, and a smile slowly formed on his face.’Destroying this place is going to be much easier than I thought.’
With the discovery of a Grandmaster-rank demon, his confidence in the plan had increased considerably.
Meanwhile, in Room 2, things were completely different.
A Lust Demon was being restrained inside the containment chamber.
As soon as Asher entered the room, the demon immediately activated its ability.
A sweet, strangely alluring voice suddenly echoed through Asher’s mind, calling out to him.
Asher paused and looked toward the source of the voice.
Then his expression became completely blank.
Inside the containment chamber, instead of seeing anything remotely frightening or impressive, Asher saw something he had absolutely never expected to find inside this facility.
