After freshening up, Lin Yun waited in the courtyard for Wei Yunhang. A short while later, just as expected, Wei Yunhang appeared at the courtyard gate, led by the Maid.
Seeing Wei Yunhang, Lin Yun rose to greet him, laughing heartily. "Brother Wei, we meet again."
"Haha, Brother Lin, my apologies for the intrusion. I hope you don’t mind," Wei Yunhang replied with a laugh of his own.
"Not at all, not at all. Brother Wei, please, have a seat."
The two sat on the stone benches in the pavilion, and Lin Yun personally poured Wei Yunhang a cup of tea. It had been a month since they had parted ways at the Saint’s Relics, so upon meeting again, they naturally exchanged pleasantries.
Neither of them mentioned Wei Yunhang’s younger brother. Since Wei Yunhang didn’t bring it up himself, Lin Yun certainly wasn’t going to be the one to broach the subject.
They chatted until noon, at which point Lin Yun had food and wine prepared. The two began to drink in the pavilion.
