Chapter 316: Servant Disciple Life
The Flawless Palace was located in a place called the Flawless Waters, a famous lake in the Eastern Domain. Its most stunning feature was the vast central island that sat in the middle of the lake.
The Flawless Palace itself was built on this island. The island’s total area was probably as large as ten of the Yanhuang Country’s Capital Cities. This was the main base of the Flawless Palace, where one hundred thousand of its disciples lived and cultivated.
The servant disciples lived on the easternmost side of the Flawless Palace, which was the most rudimentary part of the entire sect. Following a Steward, Lin Yun arrived at the servant disciples’ area.
There were twenty thousand servant disciples in the entire Flawless Palace. These twenty thousand people were the servants who took care of the daily needs of everyone in the sect.
After handing Lin Yun over to a Steward in charge of the servant disciples, the first Steward hurriedly left. Not even Stewards were willing to come to the servant disciples’ area.
"This is where the servant disciples of our Flawless Palace live," the Steward explained to Lin Yun as they walked. "Every one hundred servant disciples are divided into a group, with a dedicated Steward in charge of them. Every day, you have tasks you must complete. Only after you’ve finished can you cultivate and eat."
According to him, the servant disciples had daily tasks, such as cleaning, washing clothes, cooking, and so on. Only after completing the tasks at hand could they cultivate and eat.
As for the Stewards of the servant disciples, they were actually just older servant disciples. Their aptitude wasn’t good enough to enter the Outer Sect, but they hadn’t been dismissed by the Flawless Palace, so they became Stewards for the servant disciples.
Their duty was to supervise the daily work of the servant disciples. The Stewards were divided into three levels based on their rank: One-Star Steward, Two-Stars Steward, and Three-Stars Steward.
A One-Star Steward managed one hundred servant disciples, a Two-Stars Steward managed one thousand, and a Three-Stars Steward managed ten thousand.
