Chapter 298: God Of Chaos
Rumble!
Rumble!
The whole Heaven was shaking.
Crack!
The ground split open. Volcanoes erupted with fire. The space cracked unevenly in random places. A deep crimson aura was emanating from Logan’s body. The air around him was thick, suffocating. The ten figures standing before him looked troubled. Some looked afraid. Some looked cautious, as if they were waiting for an opportune moment to act.
"No!" An elderly woman collapsed on the ground somewhere else. "We are all going to die. Why is this happening?"
A young man dropped to his knees and clutched his chest.
People were running left and right in panic. It was complete chaos.
Back where Logan was...
Logan took a step forward. Instantly, the ground dented beneath his feet. He took another step. This time, the dent was even deeper and more damaged.
Those ten figures instinctively stepped back.
Logan’s eyes had turned pitch black right now. Black lines popped up on his face around his eyes. It was as if his face had cracked. Two wings had flapped open. With each move, they were releasing an ominous aura. Two horns had jutted out from Logan’s head.
He took another step. The ground cracked deeper. The Heaven started trembling more violently.
Step!
Another one.
Zzzzzzzzzzzz
A huge rift tore open through the space.
One of the ten figures finally couldn’t take the pressure anymore and lunged toward Logan. It was a human cultivator at the Cultivation God realm. The air hissed around him due to his frightening speed. A battle axe appeared in his hand with divine markings engraved into the blade.
The cultivator swung the axe. The sharp edge cut through the space, not just air. Thunder roared in the sky due to the sheer pressure emanating from the axe.
But just as it was about to rake across Logan’s body, Logan raised one finger.
Thwack!
A dull sound echoed. The axe stopped in mid-air as if it had frozen. The cultivator gritted his teeth and tried to force the axe head down. But no matter how much he tried, the axe didn’t move. Not even a hair’s breadth.
And then...
"Berserk Mode," Logan whispered. The moment he did, a massive amount of energy exploded outward from his body.
The impact sent the cultivator flying. But before he could even cross two meters, his body disintegrated into nothing.
Whoooooo!
The air howled as an oppressive aura danced around Logan’s body. He looked nothing like a human anymore. Crimson scales had started layering over his flesh. His hair grew longer, the hair color turning silver from black.
A primordial dragon standing at the center froze. "He just killed a Cultivation God with his aura only? How? Why?" He whispered in shock.
Logan took a step forward. "Call him." Logan’s hoarse voice echoed. It wasn’t loud, but it rang like a doomsday bell in the ears of everyone present.
"Call whom?" The primordial dragon at the center stammered.
"The Eternal who orchestrated everything. The God of Chaos. Iblekhis."
Everyone froze in place.
"W-we don’t know what you are talking about." The primordial dragon at the center spoke, his voice shaky. ’Fuck! We should have never listened to the Grand Emperor. Now we are all going to die.’ He cursed inwardly.
Logan didn’t ask anything again. Instead, he casually waved his right hand a little.
Whoooooosh!
A breeze passed by a grotesque-looking monster, another Cultivation God.
But the next moment...
His body blasted into nothing.
Logan looked at the primordial dragon at the center who was visibly trembling at the moment.
Crack!
Crack!
Crack!
More rifts tore through the space around Logan. The ground was splitting apart slowly as his aura continued to bore into everything.
"Call him." He said again.
"You are going to destroy the whole Heaven. Aren’t you afraid of killing everyone in this Heaven?" The primordial dragon spoke.
Logan waved his hand once more. This time, a human cultivator was blasted into oblivion, his flesh and blood erupting in shattered portions.
Three out of ten were already dead. And by the looks of it, Leon could tell. If Logan wanted, he could have killed every single one of these figures in an instant.
The primordial dragon was so shaken that he didn’t dare talk this time. Instead, he brought out a crystal from the pouch at his waist and shattered it. "Grand Emperor... Please... Save us." He screamed in terror, his voice almost choking.
Logan didn’t attack this time. He waited. But his aura was still damaging everything around him. The ground continued to crumble. The air kept howling.
And then...
Two figures materialized out of nowhere.
One of them was wearing a silk robe, with a golden emblem on both shoulders. His cape fluttered in the air behind him.
The moment the primordial dragon saw him, he rushed toward him and dropped to his knees. "Grand Emperor. You came! Please save us from this monster. We did everything we could, but we failed."
The person in a silk robe didn’t even look at the primordial dragon and glared at Logan. "I will give you one chance. Hand over the Eternal Demon Heart. You have three hearts. So even without one, you will have no problem living. But if you still persist, then don’t blame us for destroying everything you hold dear."
Logan didn’t even bother to look at him. His focus was on the other figure standing at the front who had come with the Grand Emperor.
This one had the head of a dragon. His arms and the rest of his body resembled a human. But his skin tone was totally crimson. And a tail whipped behind his back dangerously now and then.
"So you are Iblekhis. The God of Chaos. The Seventh Eternal in this universe."
The crimson figure’s expression changed slightly. His eyes narrowed slightly before relaxing again as a smile curved into his face.
"I didn’t expect a mere demon to be this well-informed about me. You even know my ranking. Now... You know what you are supposed to do, right? Hand over the heart."
Logan stayed silent for a while before speaking. "Of course I know what I am supposed to do. I am going to reduce the number of ranked Eternals."
The moment those words left his mouth, the aura around him intensified with an explosive outburst.
