Chapter 2752: Chapter 2753: Ancient Malevolent Soul

Ye Luo wasn’t angry; he continued to look at him with a smile, "Then tell me, if you become an Elder of the Wudang Sect, and I give you authority, what do you plan to do!"

The old man pondered for a moment, and said, "A Sect must first have rules. As the saying goes, without rules, nothing can be accomplished; this is roughly the reason!"

Ye Luo nodded slightly upon hearing this, "That’s very good, so how about you become the Punishment Elder of the Wudang Sect!"

The old man’s eyes first brightened, then dimmed, "To tell the truth, I used to be the Punishment Elder of the Wanling Sect, but later on my lifespan was running low, so I had to leave Wanling Sect!"

Ye Luo understood, what he meant by ’had no choice’ was probably being expelled from the Sect, after all, how could a small Sect afford to keep a powerful figure at the end of his lifespan in the Heavenly Martial Realm! Or rather, with those resources, it would be enough to cultivate several talented disciples.

"No need to worry, you can stay in the Wudang Sect and be the Punishment Elder at ease. As for resources, I’ll do my best to meet your needs!" Ye Luo said.

For a cultivator near the end of their lifespan, if there are enough resources, it’s not impossible to sustain life, but the closer they are to the end, the more massive the amount of resources needed!

For example, this old man still has a few months of lifespan left, so living for another year is not a problem, but the resources required would be astronomical.

Not to mention whether Ye Luo can provide that many resources, just based on Ye Luo’s words, the old man deeply bowed to Ye Luo.

Ye Luo’s action was nothing short of providing help in a time of need.

"Sect Leader, I will surely establish the punishment system. In this way, even if I am gone, the Wudang Sect can still operate!" the old man said solemnly.

It was obvious that he now had some sense of belonging to the Wudang Sect, which was exactly what Ye Luo wanted to see.

Moreover, his actions certainly influenced the others around him.

Soon after, two other old men also walked over, bowed to Ye Luo, and showed the utmost respect.

"Sect Leader, I was formerly the Tasks Elder. The growth of Sect Disciples requires encouragement and rewards; setting up tasks is the inevitable path for the Sect’s long-lasting success!"

Ye Luo nodded, "Good, then you will be the Tasks Elder. If you need any resources, you can tell me directly!"
