Chapter 2396 - 2397: Arranging the Guards
Of course, this is merely an illusion. After all, the more opportunities the Captain has to appear before the Guards, the greater the risk. Ye Luo has already discussed this with the base and plans not to let the Captain show up. Even if the Emissaries arrive, he can use the excuse of realm breakthrough to dismiss them.
Although the situation in the Holy City is very special, with realm decline being prevalent, there are still a few cultivation fanatics who are able to enhance their realms. However, due to the effect of the death qi in the Holy City, this breakthrough is temporary and will eventually fall back down.
"Captain, since that is the case, I will personally decide the allocation of areas for these Guards!" Ye Luo said calmly.
In fact, he had already planned this earlier. Among these hundred Guards, excluding the Third Princess and Yu Jizi, the other Guards have a good impression of Ye Luo. At least, they can obey Ye Luo’s orders, which is much stronger than other Guards!
This time, Ye Luo recruited according to the maximum number, and these hundred Guards have already occupied half of the total number of Guards.
This time, Ye Luo’s actions aren’t small at all; he’s conducted a major restructuring of these Guards’ territories!
Of course, he still allocated some of the better territories to those Guards with older qualifications, so at least they wouldn’t openly oppose Ye Luo, saving Ye Luo a lot of trouble.
Regarding the quality of the areas, it’s naturally concerning the insect threat. Nowadays, insects are not much of an issue for Ye Luo, as with Miao on guard, even the insects must stay obedient.
Furthermore, the base specially crafted a unique tool for Ye Luo to capture insects in case the power of Miao isn’t effective against large-scale insect invasions, which would be disastrous.
After all, Ye Luo and the base’s goal is to safeguard the Gold Silk Forest and prevent damage to the Gold Silk Wood.
