Chapter 2020 - 2021: The Right Candidate
At this moment, the Wandering Dragon King and the Floating Dragon King sat facing each other, while the Dragon Kings of the other two clans sat beside them.
"I say, Wandering Dragon King, I always feel you’re going to privately take in that kid, Ye Luo. We agreed, after his body recovers, I’ll also choose a princess from the clan for him. After all, the Dragon Emperor’s bloodline can’t just stay within your Wandering Dragon Clan alone!"
The Floating Dragon King, known for his booming voice, spat as he spoke, spraying saliva onto the Wandering Dragon King’s face.
Around them, some Dragon Kings tried hard not to laugh; others frowned. Simply put, the Floating Dragon King was quite the anomaly within the Dragon Clan.
As everyone knows, when mentioning the Dragon Clan, one usually thinks of dignity and elegance, even a touch of aloofness. But this Floating Dragon King, though he had dignity, was rather over the top, akin to a bandit leader, and grace or aloofness didn’t suit him at all.
Upon hearing this, the Wandering Dragon King frowned, "What do you mean by that? Haven’t we already reached an agreement? When have I, the Wandering Dragon King, ever reneged on my word?"
If it weren’t for the fact that the other party was the Floating Dragon King, the Wandering Dragon King would have slapped him by now.
The Floating Dragon King didn’t mind and casually nodded, "There’s another issue, though. This body swap technique has its flaws. After all, the kid’s power is too weak, and his physical body is extremely fragile. Even a wisp of the Dragon Emperor’s Dragon Soul is too much for him to bear. We were careless!"
Ao Long, sitting to the side, sighed, "Indeed. At first, we only considered the fusion of the Dragon Soul with his soul. Now that it’s reacting with his body, we managed to temporarily suppress it with mana, but once this rejection power erupts, that’ll be his death sentence!"
In the grand hall, Ao Long had the closest relationship with Ye Luo, so he had been worried sick these past few days, visiting old friends and poring over ancient texts, trying to find a solution to this problem.
