Chapter 1602 - 1603: Some Are Joyful, Some Are Worried
Isn’t this heavy enough? Gathering almost all the great clans and important officials of the Great Tang, is it really just as simple as a family banquet?
However, the biggest question on everyone’s mind is, who exactly is this Prince Consort?
You must know, so many eyes are on the fat piece of meat that is the Crown Princess. It is feared that among all the civil and military officials, anyone with a suitable male in their family has been instructed to try and win the Princess’s favor.
The Emperor of Great Tang is famously fond of the Princess!
Fortunately, because the Princess is after all a daughter, and has always been approachable, she has won quite a bit of support.
But this suddenly appearing Prince Consort, who exactly is he?
At this moment, a prince stepped forward and said, "May I ask Your Majesty, who exactly is this Prince Consort to have won the Princess’s favor?"
The prince himself is of the Royal Family, so stepping forward to ask such questions can only be seen as an elder’s concern for the younger generation, and won’t be misunderstood.
Upon hearing this, the Emperor of Great Tang’s expression visibly turned unpleasant. If not for the scandal and the Princess’s agreement to marry Ye Luo, the Emperor would not have put on such a show.
"Dear ministers, calm down. Here, I have another matter to announce: the Ninth Prince, Ye Luo, after my verification, is not of my bloodline. Therefore, I have decided to strip Ye Luo of his princely status!"
