Chapter 1425 - 1426: Commandery Princess Lingyun
Ye Luo didn’t hesitate and walked straight in, but at that moment, there were two beauties in the room, one older and one younger. The older one was without a doubt You Ji, who would be Ye Luo’s tutor at the Royal Academy for the foreseeable future.
As for the other one, Ye Luo didn’t pay too much attention.
"You are Ye Luo?"
You Ji sized up Ye Luo and asked with some doubt.
"Yes, I am indeed Ye Luo, Disciple," he replied.
Indeed, You Ji had received the message. It seemed that the Border Guard really made use of many privileges for this task.
"Hmm, excellent aptitude, special Bloodline, indeed a promising seedling. Emperor brother told me to take good care of you, and Li Long brother also greeted me, asking me to teach you well. I am somewhat curious, what is so special about you that His Majesty would adopt you as his godson and even Li Long brother holds you in such high esteem!"
Godson, high esteem?
Ye Luo sneered inwardly, this was nothing more than a tactic to control him, to have him serve their interests.
Let’s not put it so nicely. If Ye Luo had no value to them, he would probably have been killed by Li Long without hesitation during the assessment!
Even now, should he perform poorly, it is possible that he could be eliminated. After all, he is not the only one chosen to replace the Demon Clan Prince!
Although from the current performance in various aspects, they seem to be focusing on cultivating Ye Luo, this does not mean that he is their only candidate.
