Chapter 1384: The Things Left by Yun Liancheng’s Mother
After hesitating briefly, Ye Luo said to Yun Liancheng, "Brother Yun, since you are intent on looking for your mother, why bother with so many concerns? I believe that one day, you will be able to reunite with her!"
This was meant as comfort, though Ye Luo himself had no idea whether Yun Liancheng could fulfill his wish; given that they had been separated since childhood, it’s likely that even upon meeting, they would not recognize each other!
"Haha, I’ll take your auspicious words. Let’s go and see what is here. My father also specifically instructed me to come; I’m quite eager to find out if there will be any surprises for me."
Yun Liancheng’s mindset did not seem as fraught as Ye Luo had imagined, and while speaking, he walked with Ye Luo towards the interior of Yunqi Villa.
As they walked and admired their surroundings, nothing seemed amiss at first, but suddenly, a burst of light exploded from Yun Liancheng’s chest, and then, to their astonishment, they were teleported!
Ye Luo felt a force so powerful that he and Yun Liancheng were utterly powerless to resist, suddenly transporting them. The intense light made it impossible to open their eyes, and even their Divine Sense was completely restrained!
When Ye Luo was able to open his eyes again, he found that he and Yun Liancheng were now standing on some sort of platform!
Around them were only vast clouds. Ye Luo could distinctly feel that the platform under their feet was moving rapidly, a faint light shielding them both within it!
"What is going on?"
Yun Liancheng looked at Ye Luo in astonishment, and of course, Ye Luo was just as clueless.
"I remember when we were teleported, there was a burst of light from your chest. Do you have some sort of special item?"
Ye Luo asked.
