Chapter 1191: Bizarre Case
Liu Hao began recounting the events he had encountered.
After discovering something was wrong with the convoy, Liu Hao immediately took a team of people to the scene, Yang Family Alley—a secondary street that leads directly to two main roads. This was chosen to quickly bring the targets back to the Special Security Bureau branch.
The place where the convoy disappeared was right in the middle of that street.
When Liu Hao and his men arrived, they immediately started questioning the nearby shop owners. Although the Special Security Bureau’s cars didn’t blast any alarms, a whole convoy was involved. So, perhaps someone had seen something, but, as they kept asking, the response was always that no one had seen the convoy.
Later, Liu Hao immediately entered a nearby hotel and several shops. These establishments all had security cameras; unfortunately, there was absolutely no footage of the convoy entering.
Therefore, Liu Hao quickly contacted Bai Yiran.
With Liu Hao’s report, the situation seemed even more bizarre and inscrutable—a good five vehicles and thirteen warriors, mysteriously vanished!
Including the drivers, Liu Dongchen—who had been captured—and two puppets, that was a total of twenty-one people!
So many people, fully armed and then to just disappear?
As Ye Luo listened to Liu Hao’s report and watched the video playback, he pondered—what kind of person and what means could have stealthily spirited these people away?
As he watched, Ye Luo’s mind started to wander unintentionally.
But in an instant, he suddenly snapped to alertness!
