Chapter 741: Economic Summit_1
The middle-aged man at the forefront walked up to Hua Tianming, his face darkening as he looked at the injury on his right hand. A flash of rage crossed his eyes and a cold aura emanated from him, involuntarily causing a shiver in the hearts of those around.
"Father, you must avenge me and kill that damn brat!" Hua Tianming’s face was grim, and his eyes flickered with venomous resentment.
"What exactly happened?" The middle-aged man’s face was gloomy as he looked toward Du Qing and the others, speaking coldly, "Du Qing, what kind of job are you doing? Why did Tianming get hurt, while nothing happened to you?"
"Protector, please forgive us!"
Du Qing and several other Saint Realm powerhouses from the Heavenly Sword Pavilion knelt on one knee.
"Protector, the person who injured Young Master Du is accompanied by an expert from the Hua Yuan Realm, and they have considerable influence. Moreover, according to our investigation, he is also a member of the national special security bureau," said the Heavenly Sword Pavilion expert who was at the Fifth Level of the Saint Realm previously.
"Hmph, Hua Yuan Realm or not, anyone who injures my son, Hua Tianba, must pay the price," the middle-aged man snorted coldly.
At three in the afternoon, Ye Luo followed Ling Qingya, Luo Jingxuan, and Qin Yuru to one of Capital City’s most upscale business clubs, where the Huaxia economic summit was being held. The club’s exterior was filled with a variety of luxury vehicles.
Bentleys, Ferraris, Mercedes, Land Rovers, Maybachs—you name it, they had it—with high-end cars enough to form an auto show, and men and women emanating an aura of success, dressed in luxury brands, entered the club with their invitations in hand.
As for such an event, Ye Luo was originally not planning to attend since it had nothing to do with him. However, he gave it some thought and decided to come along.
