Upon entering Mei Yue Company, Ye Luo found that all the employees appeared to be very busy, and their faces all seemed rather grim.

He arrived outside Luo Jingxuan’s office and directly opened the door and went in. Inside the office, Luo Jingxuan and Yan Ling were sitting together, discussing something. At the sound of the door, they both looked over, and expressions of joy appeared on their faces upon seeing Ye Luo.

"You little rascal, you finally know to come back. I thought you had forgotten about me and your aunt."

Yan Ling said to Ye Luo with a somewhat resentful look in her eyes, the expression reminiscent of a lovelorn woman, which made Ye Luo’s face turn slightly awkward.

Luo Jingxuan’s face remained comparatively calm as she looked at Ye Luo, but her demeanor visibly relaxed. However, the dark circles under her heavy eyes and her haggard complexion still betrayed how tired she had been lately.

Ye Luo first addressed Yan Ling, "Sister Yan, don’t worry. I would never forget you two great beauties."

Then Ye Luo turned to Luo Jingxuan and said, "Your dark circles are serious, and you look so worn out. Haven’t you been resting well these days?"

"Jingxuan has been busy until eleven or twelve o’clock at night because of Mei Yue Company’s issues. Especially after those medicine suppliers breached their contracts and refused to provide us with supplies, she has been so busy she almost collapsed," Yan Ling glanced at Luo Jingxuan and said.

Ye Luo looked at Luo Jingxuan with some distress, while she said to Ye Luo, "Don’t worry, I know my own body, it’s nothing serious. What’s most important right now is Mei Yue’s business."

Outside a luxurious private room, Ye Luo and Luo Jingxuan appeared, with the president of Ding Pharmaceutical inside.

However, there were two bodyguards in suits standing outside the private room.

At that moment, Ye Luo suddenly swung his hands out, chopping directly at the necks of the two bodyguards, knocking them out cold.

Wang Quan replied calmly, "I have no idea what you’re talking about."

"Really? I’ll make you understand," Ye Luo stated.

As he spoke, Ye Luo picked up a bottle of red wine from the table and smashed it straight onto Wang Quan’s head.

With a loud crash, the bottle shattered, splashing wine and shards of glass everywhere, and Wang Quan screamed in agony as blood streamed down from his head.

This scene unfolded so suddenly that not only was Wang Quan himself taken by surprise, but even Luo Jingxuan had not expected Ye Luo to act this way, and Wan Da beside them was equally shocked.

"Do you now understand what I’m talking about?" Ye Luo dusted off his hands, his gaze coldly fixed on Wang Quan.
