Chapter 374: Qin Yuru Has an Accident_1
Soon after, Ling Qingya caught sight of Ye Luo’s figure. At this moment, Ye Luo was practicing the Dragon Soaring Nine Heavens, his figure shuttling continuously through the valley, moving so fast that all Ling Qingya could see were afterimages.
Rupture Fist!
A low shout rang out, and as Ye Luo threw a punch, a terrifyingly hot flame combined with True Qi burst forth. The punch was so horrifyingly powerful that it immediately produced a loud bursting sound in the air, with the void’s airflow scattering in all directions, emanating a fearsome energy.
At this time, Ye Luo also saw Ling Qingya standing outside the wooden hut, so he stopped cultivating and walked over, smiling as he asked, "You’ve finished your cultivation, how do you feel?"
"Indeed, it’s quite remarkable. I’m filled with strength, and my skin truly feels several times better than before. I didn’t expect the cultivation to be so impressive," Ling Qingya couldn’t help but exclaim.
"Although you’ve reached the Late Houtian Level in your martial arts, you haven’t yet learned any martial techniques. I’ll teach you a set of movement techniques now, so you can escape in time if you encounter danger in the future."
Ye Luo said, as he directly imparted the Dragon Soaring a Hundred Steps movement technique to Ling Qingya, enabling her to learn it, so that she could escape in time even if she couldn’t defeat a more powerful opponent.
After spending more than an hour, Ling Qingya managed to grasp the essence of the Dragon Soaring a Hundred Steps. Although she couldn’t fully execute it yet, her speed had already increased several times over, which made her very happy as well.
Checking the time, it was already past nine o’clock. Ye Luo left the valley with Ling Qingya and headed back to Capital City.
"By the way, I still don’t know how my father is doing?" Ling Qingya suddenly remembered something, and her expression changed.
"I’ll make a call," said Ye Luo, and he then dialed Leng Ruobing’s number.
"Your father is at the City People’s Hospital." After making the call, Ye Luo spoke to Ling Qingya and then drove to the hospital.
In a hospital room at City People’s Hospital, Ling Qingya saw her father, who was no longer in any serious danger, but still very weak due to the inhalation of a large amount of poison.
"Qing Ya, you’re here. I’m sorry, I before..." Ling Huatao began as he looked at Ling Qingya.
"Enough, you don’t need to say anything. I don’t want to talk about these things anymore," Ling Qingya said solemnly.
At this moment, Leng Ruobing’s figure appeared there, signalled to Ye Luo, and the two stepped outside. Leng Ruobing then spoke,
"Last night, we caught two people in the factory. These two are high-ranking members of Capital City’s underground organization, the Black Alliance, known as Mad Bear and Lightning Monkey. The expert who fought against you should be the Black Alliance’s boss, Black Sha, who has some collusion with Qin Tianming."
"Can those two guys be left to me?" Ye Luo’s eyes shifted as he looked at Leng Ruobing.
"What do you need them for?" Leng Ruobing’s gaze was fixed on Ye Luo.
"I have my uses," Ye Luo said indifferently.
"Alright, those two are also in this hospital now. But there’s something else I need to tell you." Leng Ruobing’s expression suddenly became more serious.
Seeing Leng Ruobing’s expression, Ye Luo had a bad premonition and asked, "What is it?"
"This morning, Qin Yuru was taken away by the police station for an investigation," Leng Ruobing said.
"An investigation? How could that be? What happened to her?" Ye Luo was taken aback.
"Someone reported that Qin Yuru had privately transferred ten billion from the Qin Group’s funds without making any report, and the funds’ whereabouts are unclear. She was then sued by the other directors for privately transferring the company’s assets," Leng Ruobing said somberly.
Ye Luo’s eyes shimmered. "How could something like this happen all of a sudden?"
"There must be someone behind this mess," said Leng Ruobing.
"I’ll make a trip to the police station. Keep a close eye on those two for me," Ye Luo said before entering the ward to greet Ling Qingya and then heading straight to the police station.
At the police station, Ye Luo saw Qin Yuru. Despite the circumstances, her expression was calm and collected, betraying no sign of urgency.
"You’re here. Is Miss Ling alright?" Qin Yuru asked, her red lips parting slightly.
"She’s fine. How about you?" Ye Luo couldn’t help but ask.
Qin Yuru smiled lightly, "I was betrayed by someone close to me, but I’m alright."
"What exactly happened?"
"My secretary Song Xi stole my seal and transferred a billion out without authorization, framing me in the process," Qin Yuru said indifferently.
Ye Luo frowned; he hadn’t expected something like this. "So, what do we do now?"
"This has to be the doing of either my elder uncle or my third uncle. Tonight, my grandfather is going to hold a family meeting to announce the next head of the Qin Family and the successor of the Qin Group. It is because of this that they targeted me," Qin Yuru said, her eyes flashing a cold light.
"It seems that your relatives are really disregarding any family ties to gain power and status. Is there anything I can help you with?" Ye Luo looked intently at Qin Yuru.
Qin Yuru’s gaze shifted toward Ye Luo and she replied, "Actually, there is something you might be able to help me with."
Half an hour later, outside the headquarters of the Qin Group, Ye Luo drove up and saw a slender figure hurrying out of the building, getting into a car, and quickly leaving the Qin Group.
Ye Luo took out his phone, which had a photo of Song Xi, Qin Yuru’s secretary, on it. The person he had just seen was indeed Song Xi. Immediately, Ye Luo followed her in his car.
Song Xi drove to a secluded apartment building in Capital City. After parking, she entered the building, and Ye Luo followed, activating his Clairvoyant Eye to observe everything.
On the third floor of the apartment building, as soon as Song Xi opened the door and walked in, she saw several men in black and a young man lying on the ground, his face covered in blood and body riddled with injuries.
"Big sister!"
Upon seeing Song Xi, the figure quickly called out.
"Little brother!" Song Xi called out as well, her gaze turning toward the men as she said, "I’ve done everything you asked. Now let my brother go."
"Heh, you’ve done well," the men chuckled coldly and continued, "But we never said we would let your brother go."
"What... How can you be like this?" Song Xi’s face fell.
One of the men then brandished a dagger and plunged it deep into the young man’s chest. The young man spat out a mouthful of blood, his eyes wide with a hint of unwillingness as he departed from this world.
"Little brother!"
At this sight, Song Xi cried out in anguish and rushed forward, cradling the young man in her arms. Tears streamed down her face as anger filled her eyes, "Why do you have to do this? I’ve already done everything you asked. Why couldn’t you just let my brother go?"
