Chapter 288: Qin Yuru Gets Kidnapped_1
Ye Luo threw a punch, striking his opponent’s chest. With only ten percent of his Strength, the man spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, his pupils turned white, and he fainted from the heavy blow.
Ye Luo grabbed the man’s body and tossed him outside, then shut the door of the rest room. His eyes flashed with surprise as he looked at Qin Yuru, who was lying on the small bed.
By now, Qin Yuru had sat up. Compared to Ye Luo, she was even more astonished.
"What are you looking at?"
While Ye Luo was staring at Qin Yuru, she was also staring back at him. Noticing his unrestrained gaze scanning her, Qin Yuru couldn’t help but speak up while hurriedly pulling at her clothes and tugging at her skirt.
"Beauty, I seem to have saved you. Don’t you think you should repay me somehow?" Ye Luo said.
"What do you want to do?"
Seeing Ye Luo’s slightly aggressive gaze, Qin Yuru felt somewhat panicked, but not as desperate and afraid as she had been with the foreign man just before.
"I said I’ve never tried a ’car shock’ before. I wonder if you can fulfill that wish of mine."
A wicked smile spread across Ye Luo’s face.
"Ruffian, get out now!"
Qin Yuru shouted in a flushed tone, not expecting to have escaped from the tiger’s den only to fall into the wolf’s clutches.
"Ah, I knew I shouldn’t have intervened."
Ye Luo wasn’t as vile as the foreign man. He just pursed his lips and sighed, then opened the door of the rest room and walked out. He had only been teasing the beauty and hadn’t really thought much about it.
Watching Ye Luo leave, Qin Yuru tightly gripped her clothes, her expression flickering, lost in thought.
In a residential area of Capital City,
"What? The plane is safe now, and all the hijackers have been subdued?"
A middle-aged man said in shock as he took a phone call.
"Damn it, how could this happen? Weren’t they a world-class mercenary group? I spent so much money, and they can’t even handle a small thing like this. They’re utterly useless."
The middle-aged man’s face was filled with rage.
"Notify Hei Yi. No matter what, that woman must not return to the Qin Family. Otherwise, he need not come to see me again."
The middle-aged man barked angrily before hanging up the phone, his eyes gleaming with a cold and chilling light.
"Qin Yuru, I really want to see just how lucky you can be," the middle-aged man sneered coldly.
Three hours later, the plane landed safely at Capital City International Airport. A swarm of SWAT and detectives immediately boarded the plane, taking control of all the hijackers.
Ye Luo hadn’t killed these people but had instead incapacitated them.
Soon, a large number of passengers disembarked from the plane, with Ye Luo and Qin Yuru being the last to leave.
"Miss Qin, I’m Zeng Fang, the chief of the police department. Are you alright?"
As Qin Yuru was just walking off the plane, a group of police officers rushed over to greet her, led by the chief of Capital City Police Department, Zeng Fang.
"I’m fine," Qin Yuru said with an indifferent expression, then turned her gaze to Ye Luo beside her and added, "You should thank him. He took down all those hijackers."
Zeng Fang’s eyes immediately shifted towards Ye Luo, finding it hard to believe that this young man in his twenties single-handedly subdued more than a dozen armed hijackers.
"Director Zeng, I hope you can thoroughly investigate the identities of these people," Qin Yuru commanded with a trace of cold sharpness in her eyes and an air of commanding strength.
"Yes, Miss Qin, I will definitely look into this matter thoroughly," Zeng Fang nodded, but the thought in his mind gave him a headache. If his suspicion was true, then the situation would be quite troublesome.
Leaving the airport, Ye Luo followed behind Qin Yuru.
"Why are you following me?"
Qin Yuru suddenly turned around, her eyes fixed on Ye Luo.
"I’m not following you. This isn’t your family’s doorstep, this is the way out of the airport. If I don’t go this way, should I fly out?" Ye Luo defended confidently.
Qin Yuru found herself at a loss for words, then after a moment, she said, "Thank you for saving me on the plane. As a reward, there is one million in this card, consider it my way of repaying you."
Qin Yuru took out a platinum card from her bag and handed it to Ye Luo, which was a notch higher than the one Zhao Sihai had given earlier.
"One million?" Ye Luo appeared quite astonished. This young lady’s identity was indeed extraordinary. The earlier director had treated her with utmost respect, and now she was offering one million so casually, quite generous indeed.
"Sorry, but I, Ye Luo, am not the kind of person who expects a reward for doing a good deed," Ye Luo proclaimed earnestly, but his hand swiftly grabbed the card.
Watching Ye Luo’s quick action, the corner of Qin Yuru’s mouth involuntarily twitched, holding back a smile.
At that moment, three Mercedes cars, escorting a black Bentley, drove up. A dozen or so men in black suits and sunglasses, exuding a cool aura, stepped out of the cars.
An elderly man with white hair stepped out of the Bentley, quickly approached Qin Yuru, bowed slightly, and said, "Miss, are you alright? I was extremely worried when I heard the news about the plane."
"Grandpa Ji, I’m fine, don’t worry. How is grandpa doing now?" Qin Yuru’s expression softened as she looked at the elder.
"The old master’s health is in poor condition. I’m afraid he doesn’t have long left, but he has been constantly thinking about you," the elder said, his face showing a hint of sorrow.
"Grandpa Ji, let’s hurry back," said Qin Yuru, her expression growing anxious.
Shh-shh—
Suddenly, a shrill screeching sound arose; two black vans charged towards them. Several men in masks and black clothing rushed out.
Knife in hand, they aimed at the black-suited men; from the other van, more people jumped out, brandishing knives at Qin Yuru, grabbed her, and quickly got into the vehicle.
These men then brandished guns at the suited men and quickly got into their cars, driving away at speed.
Grandpa Ji paused for a moment, then exclaimed desperately, "Miss, Miss!"
"What are you waiting for, chase after them! We must rescue Miss at all costs," Grandpa Ji yelled at the suited bodyguards.
However, at this moment, Ye Luo sprang into action, dashing to a Mercedes, yanking the driver out, and taking his place behind the wheel. Slamming down on the accelerator, the car shot forward.
Grandpa Ji’s expression intensified, "Notify the police immediately, we must find the Miss at all costs."
Meanwhile, the two black vans were speeding through the streets of Capital City, fleeing in a specific direction, with Ye Luo in hot pursuit in the Mercedes.
