Three Days Later;

In Coastal City, the atmosphere was quite deep. People were gathered near the southern side of the city.

"This is gonna change the concept of war."

Daisy whispered, standing next to Elena and Sher King.

"This is going to change the world."

Sher King rebuked.

"Alright, alright, no matter what it changes, it must help us win this war."

Elena rolled her eyes and spoke.

"Of course, this is the greatest creation of our time. We have managed to develop it in such a short time."

Sher King proudly stated.

"This won't be easy. One of my subordinates died before sending me any replies. The fishmen won't send weaker opponents without strategy."

Daisy replied.

"By the way, where is Alfred?"

Elena curiously asked.

"I sent him to contact the Turnip Family."

"Wait, Turnip Family? Aren't they our enemies?"

Elena, who hadn't caught up with the events happening between the Turnip Family and the Austin Family, asked.

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Tracy Austin felt too good about himself and ended up betraying his ally."

"Scarlet couldn't accept such betrayal, and thus the war between the two families started. By the way, the Scarlet Family has a genius."

Elena couldn't help but feel curious upon hearing the title of genius used here.

"Oh? How good? A-Grade or S-Grade?"

Daisy shook her head and explained.

"Neither! It's her brain."

Daisy pointed at her mind and continued.

"She managed to read an entire library of thousands of books in less than a year."

"Wow! That means she is smarter than Lennie."

Elena couldn't help but feel stunned.

"Of course, she is. Don't forget, she is just a mortal, while Lennie was a cultivator when she started reading those books seriously."

Sher King couldn't help but interrupt their conversation as he pointed into the distance.

The group of fishmen was slowly coming out of the sea. With their blue skins, gills on their neck and powerful jaws, they looked menacing.

Even though all of them were only the Rank One Monsters.

There were only ten of them, but each one had the power to single-handedly kill most of the humans from the Coastal City.

Of course, their presence didn't change Daisy's and others' expressions. They were expecting this kind of force.

Nearly five air-balloons were floating on top of the Coastal City, with several people pointing their cameras at the group of fishmen.

"Tango, have you counted their number?"

One of the cameramen asked while taking pictures of the fishmen.

"Yes, sir! There are currently four thousand Rank One Fishmen, Nine Hundred and ninety Rank Two Fishmen, and ten Rank Three Fishmen."

The man of short stature replied while constantly displaying the distinct features of the Rank Three Fishmen.

"We need to make it one hundred percent authentic. Don't forget that's the reason why Miss Daisy removed me from the combat unit and hired me at the news station."

As he said that, he pointed at his eyes.

"Indeed! Your Eyes of Insight can see even the finest of the details, better than these cameras."

The cameraman nodded.

"Wait, look! Miss Daisy is giving the signal to fly higher!"

Tango pointed at Daisy and shouted.

Hearing his words, the other four immediately controlled the air-balloons with the hot air and flew higher into the sky.

"Are you ready?"

Elena smirked and asked.

Daisy suddenly sensed a new presence in the distance and said.

"No wait, there is another fishman. Powerful one! He is surfacing."

At this moment, they didn't feel the presence of this fishman. Daisy was able to do it because she had been in the business for a long time.

She could easily sense a person's strength based on his aura.

Even Sher King wasn't as good as her at sensing other's aura.

"What's going on? Was that rumor true?"

Elena shouted in shock.

"A Grandmaster is invading our city."

Daisy gritted her teeth as she explained.

"Don't worry! Don't forget we created this book to kill a grandmaster. It must be able to do this. I have confidence in my creation."

Sher King proudly stated as he placed his hand on a trigger. It was a small handle with complex runes all over it and a small button on top.

"Then, get ready to pull the trigger!"

Daisy also strengthened her resolve. Her mana began to fluctuate as she waited for the fishmen army to get closer.

Those fishmen were neither screaming nor shouting. They were running at full speed, trying to reach Coastal City as quickly as possible.

All of them held a weapon in their hands.

Daisy roared, releasing an enormous amount of Ice Mana that condensed into a gigantic mountain range.

It completely covered the southern side of the city, blocking every single inch of the wall.

Its height was nearly five hundred meters.

At this moment, Sher King pressed the button.

In the middle of the Fishmen Army, there was a bomb buried underneath, nearly the size of a chair.

The flames and impact both reached the ice mountain. The flames didn't do much damage as most of it was concentrated within the crater.

But the shockwave shattered the mountain into several pieces.

When the mountain broke apart, the shockwave kept moving towards the Coastal City.

Of course, Elena and others wouldn't let that happen.

Daisy instantly used her Spatial Technique to travel into the ice dimension the moment the ice mountain scattered.

An enormous amount of water flooded out from further back in the crater, turning the fire into steam.

The moment she sensed the presence inside the steam, she instantly used her ice dimension to travel into that position.

[Shadow City]

Elena placed her hands together, forming a hand sign where both the index and middle fingers pointed up.

Her body released an enormous amount of dark mana that covered the entire city and her front inside in a dome of shadow

It happened in an instant.

The shockwave crashed into the dome, but instead of breaking it, it slid up and crossed the shadow, destroying a large part of the forest behind the city.

"Elena!"

Sher King couldn't help but call out her name as he saw her body tremble. He realized that technique must've cost her a lot of mana.

After all, she covered the entire city, not just the original city but the expanded one.

Elena said as she sat down and started recovering her mana.

Thankfully, her shadow city didn't require her to concentrate after its use.
