While everyone was discussing, Jordan Brown received a missive, and after reading it he said to Peter Brown, "We have a Task, you’ll have to go back alone."

"What happened?" someone asked.

"The Quasi Saint received our message and is very pleased with what Peter did, confirming that Peter has completed the Task."

Everyone turned their gazes to Peter Brown, all congratulating him.

Peter Brown could only politely respond.

Jordan Brown said, "This is a huge victory our human clan has achieved in many years, effectively turning the tide for our human clan. The Higher-Ups are very pleased, the Saint has issued a decree, demanding that our human clan’s experts fully enter the Domain of Magic to secure the victory. Therefore, those of us who are above the Void Saint rank have a Task—to take charge of a specific region and assimilate it into our human clan."

Upon hearing this, everyone became excited; it was indeed a major event.

Turning to Peter Brown, Jordan Brown said, "After deliberation by the Higher-Ups, your completion of the Task is confirmed, and you need not participate in the subsequent activities. Since there’s no one to protect you, you must return alone. Is that okay?"

"I have no problems."

"Good, you should have the experience, I feel somewhat reassured. Take this sign with you and wait for the opportunity to enter the Cultivation Technique Space."

After chatting for a while, each expert, clearly tasked, left one after another.
