Chapter 2058 - 2056: It’s Out
Several days passed without any battles, and Peter Brown would show up at the position every day.
With the map in hand, Peter was moving further away from the frontline. Now he had come to realize just how vast the battlefield was, so vast that even some Strong Persons might not reach the frontline quickly.
No wonder a large teleportation formation was necessary!
Suddenly, a thought struck Peter: what if the people from the outer region came and destroyed the teleportation formation? He didn’t know what situation that would create.
However, Peter quickly dismissed the idea because such an important place would definitely be guarded by experts, making it difficult for ordinary people to damage it.
Without the Teleportation Artifact, he figured he probably couldn’t have escaped at all, likely being caught mid-flight and brought back.
By now, Peter understood why the Military wasn’t concerned about deserters. Without the teleportation formation, not to mention the distance along the way, even the fierce beasts encountered on the road weren’t something ordinary people could handle.
While teleporting, Peter also tried flying to enjoy the scenery along the way, to his surprise, he once encountered a Flying Beast. It was so powerful that it had Metamorphosed into human form, and its Flight was almost on par with the distance covered by the Teleportation Artifact. If Peter hadn’t made a split-second decision to use his Dan Sea for Teleportation, he guessed he would’ve become a snack for the Flying Beast.
Since then, Peter no longer underestimated creatures flying in the sky. He would rather consume some Invisibility Talisman to keep himself hidden and teleport.
Teleporting twice a day using the Dan Sea, Peter found that his Faith Energy was being consumed a bit quickly.
Looking into the distance, Peter thought that if he didn’t reach the barrier soon, he might run out of Faith Energy.
