Chapter 1998 - 1996: Ascension to the Throne
Processions of the Army marched through the square, surrounded by numerous masters for protection, as Peter Brown stood atop the highest Stage.
The ascension ceremony of the Divine Nation was unlike any ordinary one; it was a special ritual that required empathy with the Heavenly Dao, without which the Divine Nation could not gain the recognition and blessings of the Heavenly Dao.
Peter was unclear about the actual logic behind it; all he knew was that, according to various situations, it was indeed necessary to perform a ritual to pay homage to the heavens.
After the dedicated sacrificial priests danced and sang for a while, Peter saw changes in the Azure Sky above King’s City. Bright and incomprehensible rays of light shone and even Peter felt a special Power scanning his body. This scanning then seemed to encompass all the participants. As he looked around, Peter noticed that everyone appeared unsurprised by these phenomena, remaining extraordinarily calm.
Peter no longer concerned himself with the details. As required, he dripped his own blood into the large snow-white jade immortal basin.
What perplexed Peter was that as soon as his blood entered the basin, the entire basin underwent a transformation, and a thick liquid appeared within it.
The sacrificial priest seemed extremely excited, and Peter couldn’t comprehend the chant he uttered, but the liquid turned into gas and dispersed into the Azure Sky. Then, Peter found that it began to rain.
Could this be the transformative power of the Heavenly Dao?
Although Peter was somewhat familiar with these events, he was momentarily taken aback when he saw this happen. It was as if he suddenly thought of his own Elixir Sea Center - whether he, too, could perform such a feat, and by doing so, establish a connection with the people of Star Planet akin to that of providing sustenance and nurturing.
Peter had no time to ponder further. Witnessing these changes, he felt a unique connection with Heaven and Earth.
At that moment, Peter distinctly felt threads of energy seeping into his Elixir Sea.
