Chapter 1970 - 1968: Moira Johnson Dies
While Alice Thompson was here regretting, Moira Johnson was on her way to the Sect.
Unlike Alice Thompson, Moira Johnson had her ambitions. She had always wanted to make significant breakthroughs in her medicine skills. Ever since she learned about the existence of a greater Sect further afield, Moira recalled getting a disciple token in a cave dwelling within her Sect. Back then, she did not know what it was, only gaining a bit of knowledge about medicine skills from it. She knew that the knowledge inherited from the token was just a tiny fraction of its contents, and if she could learn everything from the token, she believed her growth possibilities would be much greater.
Being Peter Brown’s Female Slave was a disgrace for an ambitious person like Moira Johnson, and from the bottom of her heart, she truly did not wish for it. However, when pushed to that extent, if she did not become Peter Brown’s Female Slave, her only other option would have been death, so she reluctantly chose to survive.
What Moira Johnson didn’t expect was that Peter Brown, for reasons unknown, had twisted some nerve and actually agreed to let everyone leave.
Seeing that Peter Brown was truly willing to let everyone leave, she immediately expressed her desire to leave, seeing it as an opportunity.
After leaving Peter Brown, Moira Johnson felt delighted as she fundamentally disapproved of some of Peter Brown’s practices. Thinking about the path she should take, Moira decided to take that disciple token and head to the Sect.
The Beast Sect was clearly no longer feasible; Moira Johnson had her own future, and she would not perish together with the Beast Sect.
Moira Johnson was quick, and once she left the Purple Origin Mountain Range, she sped away even faster, not even bothering to contact the Sect’s People.
Moira Johnson was self-interested, convinced that her future would be much grander.
Moira Johnson even thought it through; the humiliation brought upon her by Peter Brown must be avenged. Once she became a master in that great Sect, she would one day annihilate Peter Brown and the Lumos Kingdom.
As she traveled, Moira Johnson saw that the world was indeed changing; along the way, there were things imbued with holy energy and even divine medicines, which previously could only be found in famous mountains and rivers, were now accessible.
