"Hmm, if he really has the backing of major powers, those powers would have had to show up in the face of such a Heavenly Disaster."

This was a thought shared by people from all sects. In fact, not just them, but individuals from various powers who had arrived were all observing the surroundings, wanting to see which sect was secretly supporting Peter Brown.
